I don't understand why people always go after the OC, anybody that has coached or called plays as and Oc knows that the qb has so much control at the Los. The qb gets a play or 2 , most times a run and pass and off those plays come audibles. The qb is responsible to get the team in the right play. I'm not saying Dak is bad at it, or this is the case but maybe it's Dak is heavy pass. There's a lot of kills you hear. Now, somebody will say don't let him audible or force him to run, now you've just neutered your qb and defenses are too good for that.

They dont always go after the OC, but when you have this many games of the same problem against the same Defensive scheme...its time to look at the OC.

Yes, that is what happened. Broaddus just isn't smart enough to factor that in.

You have to really know the game to realize how well Prescott played.
Sorry bud, I was putting boots on to wade through some of these posts and I missed this gem. Bwahaaahaa!

Broaddus isn't making excuses for the QB. He rips his play plenty but also lays a lot of the blame on Kellen Moore.

Also mentions that McCarthy doesn't know the terminology to call the offense.

Meat of it starts at 3:30 mark of video.

Why is it that things have to be perfect before Dakota "Toad Hunter" Prescot can function as BELOW average in the NFL and the reason I say below average is because when he goes up against an average team he struggles mightily out of the gate and only gets better after the Boys are down by double digits! It's always someone else's fault when the Boys come out flat and go 3 and out most of the game. Prescot ran out of excuses just prior to the injury and the whole world got a front seat to witness it.

The same problem? The main problem is sustainable running. As I said that could be the qb killing a run for a pass.

Every aspect of a passing game is better when the defense believes you will run the ball. No one believes Moore will run the ball, so they play pass D all game and let you have the 5 yard runs with an occasional gash play. They know he won’t stick with it for the game, not even on a single drive. That’s why the reverses and trick plays never work as well.

So no excuses to defend Dak but let's blame OC Moore. Typical stuff these days when it comes to Dak. Interesting you reference meat of it starts at 3:30 but the first 3:30 really is questioning Dak's ability and should Dallas look to draft a new QB.....and then later on they start laying into Dak's agent, Dak's inability to remain healthy, etc.

Nice to see someone finally calling Dak out for his issues.

the injuries are not Dak's fault, his bad play is

True and this goes back to Garrett. He wasn’t a good OC and ran an outdated O but Jerry thought he found a secret sauce/hidden gem. Doing the exact same with Moore vs finding a real offensive mind. When we were loaded on that side of course it looks good but when you actually need to scheme around certain strengths it’s trash. Dak, Zeke and CeeDee are not going to tear things up with this scheme

For sure. The only qualifications Garrett or KM had was that they were willing to be Jerry lapdogs the get the job. KM had zero experience and Garrett was QB coach in Miami for a year ?

I find it hard to believe Dak has audibled out of the vast majority of run plays wrongly for the better part of 8 games and they cant change it....AND if thats the case is that not on the OC also? again To a man the players on offense have the same "What the hell are we doing" look and that speaks of the coach. Do you believe Dak audibled into a triple reverse after 2 good runs?

We're stuck with that family like it or not. If you and the others can't stand it...Buffalo has a pretty good team this year.

No little “D” I can’t stand it, and for you to say go find another team is just stupid. I don’t have to like their job performance to be a fan of the team. This is America and we can express our opinions without being threatened or castrated for them. They have sucked at their job but I still want my team to win and I will still root for them.

Dak hampers Dak, he's just not that good. People want to dissect it over and over again but the bottom line is he's a 4th round pedestrian QB with major injury history.

What happened to McC saying he was going to be more involved with the offense?

Is it customary for an offensive HC to be at the mercy of his OC?

What exactly is McC’s job description?

McC's job description is to do what Jerrah says or else.
