Oh, I'd ask for a VanderEsch autograph!

That's true. He is our true leader. He slowed that Giants running game down almost by himself. I bet the reason Cox doesn't play is because he would just be in Leightons way on the field all the time.

It ain't Doomsday....

But it has number 11 and his partner in crime in D Law.

I'll eat crow again. 100%.

I was totally against drafting Parsons. I hemmed and hawed when they got him..

"Hero Ball" I said

"Jaylon Smith 2.0" I said.

I was wrong, in every way.

Dude is the new Mr. Cowboy. That defense goes where he does.

They will get destroyed by better running teams. Other than Parsons our Linebackers are the worst in the NFL. If we are 500 I would be surprised. We are only as strong as our weakest link and LVE is a disaster and cannot play the run.

Another one of you guys !!!! Hating on your own teams players sucks !!!

LVE is A Cowboy

So let’s see. The OP has started two threads. One is about this special defense and the other is about the genius of Kellen Moore……these are threads to take away any credit from Cooper Rush

He’s one of Daks Protectors and figured out that the other 2 guys that started threads called “the pass was behind Brown” and “Rush had the highest inaccuracy rating” didn’t go over so well.

I have to give him credit for the passive-aggressive approach to getting his point across…..must have learned this tact at the “leadership seminars” he’s reminded us that he’s attended.

What’s his next thread gonna be? “ Giants pass defense is highly overrated”……it’s coming

Cowboys lead the league in sacks. Against Tampa Bay, Super Bowl Bengals and the 2-0 Giants. So don’t give me this crap.

I’m not saying our DL isn’t good—I’m saying let’s not get too carried away yet. Is the Giants’ rookie OT NOT a screen door? Let me ask you another question. Even though Tampa and Cincy were very good in 2021, would you agree they’re both kinda weak on the OL so far this year, Yes or no?

Folks, so many Cowboys fans just don't realize how good the 1971 Doomsday Defense really was.

The last 9 games, 6 regular season and 3 post season, the Cowboys only gave up 8 touchdowns. FOUR of those touchdowns were garbage touchdowns.

The Cowboys had 4 Hall of Famers in that starting defense. Three of them in the Secondary:
Mel Renfro
Herb Adderley
Cliff Harris
and Bob Lilly on the line.

I truly believe the secondary of Renfro, Adderley, Harris, and Cornell Green is the greatest secondary of all time - definitely the greatest in Cowboys history. Charlie Waters was a rookie bench warmer.

Just think, it was the non Hall of Famer Cornell Green who covered Paul Warfield everywhere in Super Bowl VI.

The 1971 Cowboys never get the credit they deserve. That team was every bit as good as 1977 and 1992/1993.

The secondary the Cowboys have today especially with their depth can rival this unit.

I can’t believe you’re crapping on the Cowboys defense and not giving them credit because you think Tampa Bay and Cincinnati suck. WTH is wrong with you?

D looks good but they’ve gone up against some terrible o-lines. TB, Cincy and NY are all a mess up front.

Nobody is “crapping on the Cowboys’ defense”! I didn’t say Cincy and Tampa suck! I only inferred that OL is a weak spot on their teams, and MAYBE we might wanna slow the Doomsday Two talk until we play a team with a top ten OL. WTH is wrong with YOU? No wonder people roll their eyes when you post! Overreact.com!
