I have no interest in ever seeing Dak take another snap for Dallas

That. That is my point 10000%. I had less issues with Dak when he was on his rookie contract. The big hate for Dak came when he took 40M to give us the same output as his rookie season.

The bit I am also thinking about it how a QB can 'elevate' those around him. Whilst Dak had "no receivers".. Rush has made Noah Brown look like a star. Our Oline did not get called for holding once.. and one false start (that could be argued).. compare that to last season and TB in Week 1. Dak holding the ball so long, not running rush plays all make the OLine look terrible as they are forced to hold to try and keep Dak upright. The Defence is playing lights out.. no doubt.. but how much easier when the TOP is even and they aren't being forced to head back out after watching a quick 3 and out?

I don't know.. but the suggestion that we would have won the last 3 games 'by even more' with Dak.. just doesn't sit right with me. Yes TB is a good defence but Dak looked woeful in week 1 and the team looked bad around him. Don't know but I have loved watching the last three games.. I like watching us commit to the run.. I like that we are running a balanced offence.. I actually watched the game today and didn't worry about flags every second play. I just like the way we 'look' right now. Don't think that is 100% Rush.. but Dak is right to feel nervous IMHO.

You can't explain all the nuances of how things really fit together to the defenders of #4. But nice try. Hey, it at least makes me smile that some other folks understand. End of the day, this is Dak's defining moment. He either comes back sharp or he loses the team & the fans. Excuses aren't going to cut it.

Dak will be seriously tested in the upcoming games. May the football gods have mercy on him, if he fails to prove his haters mistaken. There's little doubt that Rush will be watching on the sidelines, wondering if Dak can match his magic. These are quite intriguing times, to say the least. Let's not doubt that Jerry and Son will be pulling for Dak to shine in his return action. The Dallas Cowboys' drama promises to live on, indefinitely. Stay tuned, folks . . . :D

So ... you're gonna stop watching the Cowboys for the last 10-11 games of the season? .. Oh well.. it's a free country.. Enjoy your Netflix subscription.

This team just works under Rush. There's something special about this guy and he's just overall sees the field better than Dak.

This guy is no fluke.

He's Cooper The Rush.. Rush.
Rush isn't better than Dak. The poor performance in game 1 was more about just having a bad game in the first game of the year. Rush is a good 2nd qb for this team. His experience in the system and with Moore is paying off.

Dakota's issues stem all the way back to 2019, and really late into last year; it's been a recurring problem. Anybody that thinks he just had one bad day at the office against Tampa is trippin'.

Let's wait until we see him play more than 3 or 4 games before crowning him. Let him put in a body of work against all levels of competition first. Rush is playing great and I love what he does, but we're not facing Washington, N.Y.G. and this year's Bengals defense every week.

Let's see him face some adversity, etc.

We should all be excited for the things he's doing, but slow ya roll. Its levels to this.

Rush is fine in small windows. An entire season?. UH no

I can tell you, the next few weeks will be very interesting. The fanbase seems to already be turning on Dak and loving on Rush. Not only on this forum, but all over Cowboys' media that I've seen. If Dak comes back and you know whats the bed, the chants are going to be really loud for Rush.

I'm not sure I'm convinced either way yet, but I do like some of the things Rush does do.

Watch what happens when Cooper has the inevitable 3 int 2 td game where they lose by 17. He almost had that game today if it weren't for those picks being called back.

Add to the fact that the Bucs “great defense” allowed 40+ points tonight, and it’s making Dak’s paltry 3 points in week 1 look comedic.

But yeah, the Dak sympathizers here would still have us believe he’d have put up 30+ points the last 3 weeks

Would we beat the Rams with Dak? That’s kind of the point of all of this.

Cooper is just getting similar results and beating the teams that Dak beats.

Do you now have the ability to predict the future?

If Dak started, and lost, are you certain Rush would have won?

I think the thumb thing will take a bit to get Dak back to starting health. Not certain if either could beat the Rams. We'll see.

But this elation about Rush ignores some truths about the game today. When Dallas was backed up with a long field in front of the offense, I didn't see this QB be especially accurate, or lift the team on his shoulders and create long drives.

I am not down on Rush. But he is no more than a journeyman bus driver to me.

Rush will be a starter in this league next year.

Maybe not for Dallas but somewhere. We should lock him him and down and trade Dak for picks!!!

Good luck with that theory. I'm enjoying the wins, but this giddiness is over the top.
