Donovan Peoples-Jones has 12 receptions for 141 yards for Cleveland. David Bell has 4 for 47. Those are the next-best receivers for the Browns, so suffice it to say that Cooper is their No. 1 receiver and drawing the most attention.

In addition to Brown. we have Lamb as our clear No. 1 with 23 receptions for 288 yards and 2 TDs. We also have Gallup back.

Comparing Brown and Cooper just based on their numbers is nowhere close to a fair comparison since it does not take into account roles. Being the No. 1 guy is far different than being the No. 2 or No. 3 because you get better matchups and less attention as the No. 2 or No. 3. We should be happy about how Brown is performing and leave it at that.
maybe that's true and dont care about player to player comps but as a core, as a team,

we DO NOT MISS COOP, he did not leave the HOLE most said he would.. His not being here did not make it hard for all our WRS to produce solid numbers
that the point lets leave it there,,
bene saying this all season, tired of the we should have kept a 22mil a year player because our 2 #2s and 4 #4s couldn't keep up without him..and this is with Washington still out..we will gel and even be eter when daks back with this entire WR core...

WRONG!!

Hope you are wrong......I would argue the margin between Gallup and Brown isn't that much IF he gets the targets
not a large gap but Gallups much smoother and better in traffic and near the side lines. the type of passes he caught not only in tight coverage, but toe drag swag is clearly why,

Proof is the fact that WR1 generally gets more attention from defenses than WR2 or WR3 or WR4. Football 101.

Unless, you think Brown is a WR1 in Dallas or equal to the WR1 in Dallas.

I have been complimentary of Noah Brown and gow he has played. Just because Cooper is no longer a Cowboys player does it mean he stinks and I have to hate him. I'm not a teenaged fan. Smh
Who said I hated Cooper? You may not be a teenage fan, but you sure do make assumptions like a youngin.

The point of my post was to question if Cooper really is receiving double cover as much as some here claim. Because truth be told only the opposing coaches can say how often they've double Coop. Everyone here is just making assumptions.

You think brown gets more attention than Cooper by the defense ??
No one here knows how often Cooper is being doubled. They're just making assumptions. So I'm just picking with these guesstimators. Truth is I don't think a guys performance should be discredited for any reason. Brown is doing what he gets paid to do.

Noah Brown is Juju Smith Schuester with deep speed.

Noah Brown has a little speed but teams have been ignoring him and focusing on CeeDee. Opponents will start paying more attention to Brown.

A lot of Noah's production comes from his YACs, which are largely due to his tackle-breaking ability. He's a tough guy to bring down.

I haven't saw the all 22 for every game, for both players. So I can't give you a factual answer to that question.

But if I was a defensive coordinator I wouldn't go into a game just blindly doubling a WR. That WR would have to earn the right to be doubled during the course of the game. If fact some defensive coordinators will let you have your #1 WR and just take away everyone else. So who here can accurately say how often Cooper's been doubled?

Didn't want to start a new thread so:
What ever happened to James Washington? Is he available this year or did he go season ending?

Getting rid of Amari was the right move

Getting only a 5th for him is what should be blasted

Ive said it for years. Dude disappears too often. He supposedly has all-world route-running ability, so why has he been held to under 20 yards in 20% of the games hes played in?

When I was in gradeschool we used to say one person was better than another because of stats!!

Simple minds here!

Noah Brown is 18 of 27 for 274 yards with a long of 45 yards and 1 TDs.

Amari Cooper is 20 of 31 for 228 yards with a long of 32 yards and 2 TDs.

Factor in the fact that we save $20 million for other players.

And that's a winning move.

Not to mention, the best WR on the team is back, Michael Gallup.
