Noah Brown is Outperforming Amari Cooper Through Week 4

I was a Noah Brown doubter. I think ideally he is no better than a #4.....and that was much higher than I rated him entering the year.

But he has taken advantage of his opportunity and that says something. He at least has probably extended his career by a few years at the minimum with his production and reliability.

I still believe we'd be better with him and could have restructured, but Brown has stepped up more than I could have ever anticipated and Gallup is back. The decision always came down to whether we were going to pay Cooper or Gallup, and Cooper was not a $20 million receiver last year. Dallas chose to go with the younger player and I've never faulted them for that. I did (and still do) believe we could have kept all three, but that just was never going to happen.

I move on from players when they are no longer here, so I really don't care what Cooper is doing in Cleveland, but I can't seem to keep from replying when statistics are used to misrepresent something. Cooper's circumstances are different in Cleveland, but he's there and our top three receivers are Lamb, Brown and Gallup. I expected Gallup to be a capable No. 2 when he got back because he had already showed that he could. Brown is a pleasant surprise for me. Normally, you don't see players making a big lead in their sixth year.

its NOT A SURPRISE though, the FO and coaches.. they were ridiculed for saying he can play larger role this year gave him new deal and trusted him to fill in for the guys we let walk last year, you all wanted smith or Vasher or trade for another vet..

thats the only point, we do NOT Miss cooper because OUR GUYS are doing the job.no need for a comp. 3-1 and wr core producing when needed. also, will be better when Dak comes back and they play a game together,

that was the plan and still Washington left to add as the full offseason plan will finally be in place with Dak throwing to Lamb, Gallup, Brown, Washington and Schultz. none have played game together so its work in progress but so far its working.

Cooper gets doubled teamed and he always is covered by the top corners. Brown is never doubled and gets the #3 corner.. STOP IT.

Add in the fact that Rush has missed NB high a couple times and it’s an even bigger disparity.

Noah has more heart and is much more dependable than Cooper. Brown also plays big in AWAY games, unlike Amari "Copperfield" Cooper.

There’s more dog in NB than Amari ever will have.

Noah Brown has a little speed but teams have been ignoring him and focusing on CeeDee. Opponents will start paying more attention to Brown.

penalty's and miscues around dak, go watch closer, cause his allegedly but overblown regression are WRONG!

you can not ask a qb to overcome trash like he superhuman, especially when its the OLINE penalty's and poor blocking plus some head scratching play calls etc...sorry man you are so far off base i just cant take you seriously.

each game, each year, when you break them down there are more glaring issues to why we lost then Dak. hes like 5 out of the top 5 issues to lose those games.. fix the top 4, im betting he wins far more games then he loses. dont need proof ive watched it.

well you have to consider their QBs too. I mean there are people on this board who are comparing Cooper Rush to Brady...so Noah has the better QB. no?

Yeah, true. But players slump. Right now, Cooper Rush is playing better because the team is playing better. That Bucs defense is nothing to shake a stick at. So we'll see if they can put an offense together over the course of the season.

If they do, they can be as good as any other team in the playoffs.

The way I see it shaking out, San Francisco and Jimmy G are the team to beat.

In the offseason, it looked like Dallas geared up its team to compete with the 49ers, not the Rams. So, I'm thinking Dallas made the correct moves during the offseason.

I really like the change from Cooper to Noah Brown. Because, Noah Brown is just as good as Cooper.. at the job of playing the opposite side of CeeDee Lamb, and being the 3rd guy with Michael Galllup out there. Over time, Noah will prove himself to be every bit as valuable as Cooper. And a much tougher opponent in the 4th quarter than Amari Cooper.

I see some really great teams in the NFL, though. Kansas City, San Fran, the Rams, the Bills.

If this team ends up gelling, they can compete with any of those teams.

Story has it he was playing well enough to get more time last year, but they sat him behind Cedrick Wilson, who took the money and ran.

By not playing him, we got to keep him. I'm actually being serious when I say I think he would have been a better option against San Francisco.

Noah Brown is a better bully ball WR. You just have to play bully ball. Cee Dee Lamb is a bully ball type of WR. He will hit you.

Cooper is a finesse guy.

For the zillionth time, no, that was not me.

I have been for allowing Cooper to walk since they let him walk. He's not a team player, he doesn't play with heart. He wins on finesse when it takes grit to win in this league.

Amari Cooper is a progress stopper if you're trying to win championships.

That's why I'm pointing out how Brown is a much better team player.

For crying out loud, though, dude. Every time you respond to me, like never fails, you don't even have your facts right.

I like Julio Jones. But it's a no-brainer to add that guy. I believe they did not because they like the chemistry this team has as individuals. After the Bucs game, I pondered the possibilities over not getting him. But it's not like I haven't been talking about how Amari just didn't give it 100% when the team needed him. You get 100% effort from Cee Dee and Brown. They're human, but they will fight for you.

You should get your facts in order, or it'll be the iggy shortlist.
