Please let Prescott get medically cleared ASAP so this latest fan melodrama can finally be put to rest. And then immediately replaced with a newer one.

Yea, really need Rush to lose a game to end this. Lol

Unfortunately Dak didn’t lose a game until after we benched Romo and it really didn’t ever get much better.

Yet here you are being the melodrama queen.

Actually it's the arrogance of some Cowboys fans who believe that somehow the Cowboys are above having a QB controversy. Where does that come from?

Not saying Rush has proven to be a world-beater. But any QB who can come in and win games deserves at least a shot at the starting job. Besides, what have you seen from Dak since, say from after the bye week of last season, that makes you feel he is an elite QB worthy of his contract? I haven't seen it.
You have made an incorrect assumption. There are zero posts on this site where I have ever stated Dak Prescott is an elite quarterback. However, I have made posts where I have said professional sports athletes, regardless of sport and positional designation, are extremely overpaid.

That said, I have also said professional sports athletes' contracts are not merit-driven but market driven. It does not matter whether any observer agrees or disagrees with any contract. Each athlete is paid whatever the market bears. If anyone has an issue with Prescott or any other quarterback's contract, they should address it with the person or person's bestowing it to them.

Back to Prescott. My philosophy has been unchanged in 45 years. In my opinion, a starter does not lose their position due to injury. IF coaches properly evaluate another player's performance and determine during practice it exceeds the starter after their return to active play, they should do their job and replace the starter at that time. A change should not happen because of how they, media, or fans feel. It certainly should not happen when anyone is experiencing euphoria over wins generated by overall team effort. Make an educated football decision instead.

That's a fair argument. I also believe that Dak should be the starter once he is healthy. He needs to play and the cowboys need to find out if he can play at a high level. But I can also believe that Rush is deserving of a shot at the starting job. Both things can be true at the same time.

Doesn’t have to be an Elite QB. And most would say isn’t worthy of his contract. But is he more talented and does he ultimately provide more production and opportunity on offense than Rush?

You can believe it. I may come around eventually to believing it. However, neither of our opinions impact the team.

The most important thing is for the head coach, who should be qualified in making the right decision, to do his job. Unfortunately, the head coach for this franchise does not make completely unquestioned roster decisions. I cannot prove my assumption but it has been my unchanged opinion since Jimmy Johnson's departure.

lol. I posted the reminder about (since deleted) comments that were threading the site rules--not to stop criticism of either quarterback playing in the future.

So has anyone in cowboys organization said there’s a controversy ? Give me a shout when they do. From where is sit it’s the arrogance of fans that a) don’t like QB1 and b) enjoy trolling those who do
