Wow...have you thought I have not had time yet to critique his performance.

But since you will not respond to me, I won't bother.

Lol...he want Dak criticized as if it would make him feel better, he's probably the same on saying Rush was better than Dak after throwing for 100 yards in a game...lol

Remember how he, Dak, got sacked the play before and got bailed out by illegal contact. If anything we would have had 3, karma jumped up and bit us for no points on one hell of hit. If dak takes that hit that Brown did he would be out of the game much less a fumble.lol.

Not sure your point. You pointed out how Detroit lost points with a fumble. And I pointed out that we lost points with a fumble. Can't say Detroit should have gotten more points without saying we also should have.

Overall good win…wasn’t the prettiest and plenty of things to work on, on both sides of the ball.
I thought the defense really picked it up in the 2nd half; as others have alluded to they are the engine of this team and the team goes as they do. Hoping Lewis’ injury isn’t serious.
I thought Dak was being too aggressive downfield forcing balls into coverage; I don’t know why we stopped running up the gut for a period of time before going back to it; the Lions weren’t able to stop it. We seemed to get away from the recipe we used offensively when Cooper was running the show. Dak appeared to settle into a rhythm late in the game…but he definitely needs to improve. Our 3rd down and short-yardage offense was abysmal; need to get that right.
Penalties still an issue…I think I saw a graphic that said we were 2nd in penalties and penalty yardage.
We definitely have to tighten it up; the NFC is tough this year with Philly, NYG and SF…every win is important and cannot lose ground to NYG.

That's totally fair. If we can beat the Bears next week, keep knocking off rust and go into the bye at 6-2, then we will be fine.

Game plan had something to do with us scoring less than we could have because we are committed to running the ball and came up short a few times when Detroit was expecting it and stopped it. Hopefully, Dak gets back to where he's not missing throws like the first one to Noah Brown, and the line does a better job of protecting him than it did in this one.

Pretty accurate.

A few drives killed by drops, had the huge fumble inside the DET 5, and Dak got sacked a few times by immediate pressure. Also stuffed running it on short yardage a couple times.

Dak was rusty but made some nice plays as well. A few awful throws he got away with. No turnovers, 1 TD and a win.

Defense was awesome, especially after that Jamaal Williams fumble at the 1. Huge, huge momentum swing there.
Great and fair summary

That was what I was pointing out -- 10 games to -- Cowboys (or Giants) still could win NFC East if Eagles stumble. But 3-3 NFC teams lost today...more cushion for the top two wildcard spots for NYG and DAL if both keep tcb.
SEA @ Chargers, KC @ SF...two more 3-3 NFC teams could fall to 3-4.

Motorola---i think we sweep Giants and get even with Sheagles...oh excuse me did i call them Giants?....i meant the G-Women

This attempt at a sentence doesn't even make sense. I think your anger over the Cowboys winning today is getting to you. Calm down, then try to retype the sentence.
That sentence is a properly structured sentence. That's what you Dak trolls have been reduced to. Just celebrate a Cowboys victory today like the rest of us real Cowboys fans.

KM needs to go watch some tape of NE when they were running 2 TE offense with Gronk and Hernandez. This is the type of offense we need to run when our OL isn't at their best like today. That should help the OL protect better and our run game will improve also. We now have the TEs to run that type of offense.

We win...Dak was 18-24 after knocking off some rust. and some don't like it. Typical troll behavior. Oh and don't forget the garbage stats goofballs chimed in also.

Not only do they not like it...they hate it...they are miserable....and we real fans love it.....:lmao2:

Only things I didn't like were some errant throws to open receivers and throwing the ball into traffic a couple of times, at least one of which should have been intercepted. It's his first game back, so it's no big deal, but I can't say the performance was better than what Rush was giving us. Hopefully, we won't be able to say that as the season progresses.

Watching the niners and chiefs I see plenty of room for improvement needed for us to compete with leagues best

make no mistake they are 2 of top 3 and I am not referring to Philly

anyway we got alot of season to get better. Detroit played inspired football but Dallas and penalties and poor play calling and execution needs to get better

I'd prefer a vet there honestly unless they can convince me the only reason Lewis was ahead of him on the depth chart was because he's a vet. I like Bland....just not a fan of depending on rookies but i'm sure the Cowboys will go that route.

I wouldn't mind us moving Brown into the slot and giving Joseph a shot outside. Chicago might be a good game to experiment with that. But when Lewis missed time earlier, we went with the direct replacement with Bland, so that's probably what we'll do again.

Tale of 2 halves. Can we credit coaches for halftime, 2nd half adjustments, whatever they were? 21-0 during that span.
