Cooper Rush still leads the Cowboys in passing yards

Granted, it's 5 games for Rush, compared to four for Dak, but it's still a stat that stands out.
After a 4-1 start, Cooper Rush has 1020 yards, with 5 tds and 3 interceptions.
Dak has a 2-2 record in 4 games, 856 yds, with 6 touchdowns and 4 interceptions.
I was actually surprised to see that Rush is still leading in stats, especially since he played against the Giants, Eagles, Bengals, and Commanders, and Rams.
Dak has faced the Packers, Bears, Lions, and Buccaneers.
Make of it what you want. But Rush has 154 yds more than Dak, so the extra game isn't really an issue.

Similar stats, but not the pay. Because of the pay difference Dak gets to keep his job. The Cowboys defense knows this and is also starting to play like crap as well. Tune back in one week before the season ends and we can all watch either no playoffs or a humiliating lose in the first game.

Count the hours you will waste on the Cowboys between now and then.

Im not trying to say Rush is a starting caliber QB. I’m trying to say we’re paying 160 million for a back-up style QB which is what Dak has turned into.

We cut Cooper, Collins and didn’t re-sign Ced almost entirely due to Dak’s contract.

If our Qb was being paid what he’s TRULY worth, we might be seeing a player like Von Miller helping this defense. Instead that potential money to sign a player like Miller is going to Rayne and he’s expected to deliver Elite play for Elite cap space burden…..it’s as simple as that.

Tell me you don't know how the salary cap works without telling me you don't know how the salary cap works.

You know what would help the run defense? Better players....

You mean like how we did absolutely nothing when Dak was on that 4th round contract? All of those cuts had absolutely nothing to do with Dak's contract and more so with a cheap FO.

He just dropped 28 and 49 points. Maybe we should have shored up our defense so that teams aren't regularly running for 200+ yards on us
