Did you see the Bills have a tough time with the 3-7 Browns yesterday? Why are they so elite? Right now, they are NOT elite. They are very good, but they are not playing ELITE.

There is only 1 ELITE team and that is the Chiefs and that is because they have Mahomes.
No, haven't seen the Bills all year. I know they've had some losses, but with that QB I still think in the end they will be in the AFC Championship against the Chiefs. That I will watch. I really just watch the BOYS. The officiating is so bad in the NFL, I don't care to watch more than the one game a week, and thats because Ive been watching the BOYS since I was little.

wth does that mean? 12-5 last year, on way to 12-5 this year. Is that not consistent? But if you somehow think that only winning a SB makes you consistent, Im not sure what game you are watching. The Chiefs lost the AFC title game at home last year. Damn inconsistent Chiefs.
So you are ok with 4 playoff wins in 27 years?

Well that QB has been playing like garbage. I, like you also believe they will be in the AFC title game, but honestly, if the Bills have to go to Miami..... that will be a game that I could see either team winning. The Bills may not even with that division as all those teams are playing fairly well. But, like always, the Pats and Jets have no QB and no way in hell will they win consistently having to overcome garbage qb play.

First Take featuring Stephen A, Michael Irvin and Dan Orlovsky is truly representative of our Fan Zone because it has 3 very differing opinions of the hosts as does our forum. Hers the 3 takes

1. Michael Irvin - “We played the best game of the season and we are the best team in the NFL”

2. Stephen A Smith - “The Cowboys beat a overhyped fraudulent team in the Vikings and they are an accident waiting to happen and will collapse in the playoffs”

3. Dan Orlovsky - “The Cowboys played a complete dominating game but I will have to see consistency in doing so before putting them up with the Eagles, Bills and Chiefs”

Where does your opinion fit in among these 3 cats?….

Mine is with Orlovsky as I’m a “Missouri Show Me” type guy….however Stephen A has been correct for a long time now, but yesterdays game made me feel like a Michael Irvin after the game.

Being from MO as well I feel ya

I did turn on CBS early yesterday and actually saw the Pats punt return TD at the end to win it, LOL. That was nice to see, love a great punt return. Apparently that was all the excitement of that game because the score was 3-3 when Jets punted.

Do you set the same low standards for yourself too?

well damn, since the Jets, Dolphins, Washington, Vikes, Bears, Niners, Chargers... ill stop there, but I could keep going... since they have all not won a SB in like 45 years, they should just stop playing and the fans should all start watching the World Cup.

Low standards? lol

I was raised in a time where sports shows discussed sports and there was professionalism they broke down plays and used logic and objectivity and thats what made me fall in love with and learn the game

First take is a joke its like literally someone taking a jornalism degree and wiping their hindpotts with it just week after week of idiotic takes and drooling while farting and they call this crap journalism

its poop

Competency, customer service, patience, loyalty, empathy—becoming more obsolete by the day…

because both the pats and jets have very good defenses and neither has a qb. Put those 2 things together and you get 3-3..lol

So TUA and the Dolphins are for real then? Haven't seen a second of them all year. I knew the IGGLES, VIKES and G-MENs records were greater then their teams really are. Not sure what to figure on the Dolphins though.

Some of these teams have gone to Championships and Super bowls. We have had as much success as the Browns, Lions and Commanders over the past 27 years, but if you are ok with winning regular season games and getting knocked out in the first round of the playoffs every year, congratulations to you.

SAS of course he has that take, he sounds like many on here. Moving the goal posts all over the place as to why Dallas won, or more like how the other team lost.
Micheal, he is correct but only if the continue to play as they did yesterday.
Dan, he is most correct, except he lost me when the added the Eagles to that list. Eagles are a few plays away from being 6-4 or 5-5. But 9-1 gets you props, so we shall see down the road and in the playoffs.
Dallas does need more consistency week to week.

I feel the same way Orlovsky does. Cowboys have to show me that they can do this more on a consistent basses. After the past 27 plus years of letdowns, I am mot going to let one blowout win against a good team make me forget about the past 27 years. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me 27 times, shame on me.
Dude, they’re 7-3. Wake up.

Since I have the luxury of having absolutely nothing at risk beyond my feelings as a fan I'm going with 4 parts Irvin to 1 part Orlovsky.

For now.

I feel your pain. I would like to see them at least make it to the NFC Championship in the next year or 2. Tired of one and done in the playoffs.

I believe a majority of the fan base is a mixture of it all.

When they play like that they are the best football team in the NFL (ON THAT GIVEN DAY).

It’s unfair to crown teams like the eagles who have played a cupcake schedule but act like Dallas didn’t beat a 8-1 team, on the road after they beat a Buffalo team who is 1-3 best in the league.

The fans know it doesn’t matter until the playoffs. I didn’t think this team was a Super Bowl team … but a playoff team for sure. If they lose the NFC Championship I would not call that an “accident waiting to happen”

They could dominate the Super Bowl for 59 minutes, but lose by one point on the last play, and phony chodes like SAS and Horseface Sharpe would gleefully scream “Accident waiting to happen! I tol’ you, Skip!” Fake journalists.

honestly.... it doesnt matter. The Rams won the SB last year, but you think those fans go to bed each night after getting crushed happy, because well.... we did win the SB last year???? Nah, they are pissed and crying and complaining just like everyone does when their team loses.
