Feed and speed there such a great combo. Really glad they let Zeke rest and showed what pollard can do and Zeke comes back and shows his burst and what not. Had great vision this game too. He does wear the hell out of the middle of a defense room

Ronnie really has a bead on the Zeke thing. And I don;t think it's manlove (per se :) )

He's got the real deal breakdown on it. Good takes.

Thanks bro.. I think it should be plainly instructional that Pollard's explosive play count and his yards per carry have come back to Earth after the heaviest 3 game load of his career. That's just the way it works with the running back position. It's a beating to have to fight off 3-4 300 pound men 20 times a game and have them slam you to the ground while falling on top of you. Then throw in having to step in front of a 250 pound heat seeking missile coming after your QB 10-12 more times a game.. It takes a toll and no human is immune to it.

We saw Chubb go what 14 carries for 19 yards last week.. We have seen Henry with multiple games of < 3 ypc. We've seen Taylor miss games and look very pedestrian this entire season after looking superhuman most of last year. Barkley is averaging 2.2 ypc his last two games. NFL running back is a tough gig. Anyone who has ever toted the rock in an actual tackle football game knows this and appreciates what these guys do. Frankly I don't know how they do it. Some of the things they subject their bodies to would kill a normal man. Or at least have him in a body cast for a few weeks.

Zeke has totally forgotten how to stiff arm, hurdle or use a spin move. His only “move” is to run to the defender and try to run over him, or run out of bounds like he did today. We need more.
He literally span last week and ended up in the end zone. People really do see what they want to see dont they?

Absolutely man.. Apparently this dude was getting a beer from the fridge during the hurdle in the Detroit game. As for him running out of bounds.. The man is coming back from an injury.. Why the hell would he risk more injury for a couple extra yards when he can just step out of bounds?

So should those 2 yard runs that TP was putting up.

These are silly takes.

TP was not at his best on Thursday, it should not be that hard to admit that.

You're right. the Zeke Boy takes are silly.

Zeke's been pretty close to averaging on the season what Pollard did in yesterday's game and y'all are heeeehawwwing donkeys about it.

And of course when Zeke average 3.8 YPC it's all about the supposed "tough yards" Zeke gets.

Not at all.

Ride the hot hand, Cowboys need BOTH running backs.

And they need both for different roles.

The poor takes are the ones calling for TP to take all the carries even in games he is struggling.

Pretty crazy how a two time rushing champ is our second best running back yet people are upset. Opposing teams and their fans wish they had that problem.

More made up empty blathering from Ronald:

Pollard versus:

Green Bay
3 (10+ yard runs)

Vikings
4 (10+ yard runs)

Giants
3 (10+ yard runs)
1 (20+ yard run)

Was good to see him so well. Yesterday was a game for more zeke than pollard perhaps injury recovery had coaches concerned with that

Zeke’s massive game now is less than 100. Stop asking especially when people diminish Pollard’s triple digit games. It’s embarrassing.

who diminishes pollards triple digit games? and also who called the game massive? the biggest compliments he received were "didn't look washed" "looked good"
y'all just invent stuff to argue against now lol

Best game of the season IMO.

He had 3 plays of 10+ which is the first time he’s done that in forever.

Oh, well that's because the o-line was blocking right for him this time. Usually, the line only blocks "right" for Pollard .

But you geniuses claimed that if he got more touches he would be breaking off 20+ yard runs left and right and playing behind Zeke was the only thing holding him back from doing it. Oh and his longest run yesterday was 13 yards.. Nice try though. He did add three negative runs for -9 yards to his ledger though.. Bringing his season total to 13. I say again.. The Cowboys have two good backs.. Some matchups are gonna favor Zeke, some are gonna favor Pollard. Which one it is only matters to softheads..

Didn't look washed up today. Definitely outplayed Pollard today

You could say the defense had to key on Pollard this time, and Pollard spread the defense out so that opened things up in the middle for Zeke. So thank Pollard for that.

I admit his paycheck gets in my way of viewing him more positively. I mean really how many yards did you get and how many yards is he gonna get this year and much

Those two guys know what it means to make a path to help the team find the way to the top. They were not out there to outplay each other. Bread and butter.
