So, 5-1 Cowboys lead Cooper Rush is also just as good as Dak and Hurts?
LOL. You dont quit do you? I am enjoying my Thursday. Sorry. Not messing with you today.

And no. Rush isnt as good as either. That is the point I am making. Its amazing how everyone loves bigging up Hurts even though he has a super talented roster around him but knock Dak for what he did in 2016 because he had. You guessed it. A super talented roster around him. LOL. Just amazing the double standard you guys have.

A super talented roster shouldn't discredit anything that Dak did in 2016 and anything Hurts is doing this year.

Anybody outside of Cowboys fan would tell you that Hurts, right now, is playing better than any version of Dak.

Will that last? Who know, but right now you don't really have an argument when you factor in the overall work and Hurts still has 6 games to work with.

Ummm ok. Ill bite.

So now we are comparing Dak to Hurts? Dak missed what 5 games?

Yards
Hurts - 2560
Dak - 1393

Touchdowns
Dak - 10
Hurts - 17

That's 6 games to 11.

I am not going to do rushing stats because Hurts destroys Dak there and there is no argument at all and if anyone tries they are beyond saving. But lets not act like Hurts all of a sudden as a passer has surpassed Dak in any way shape or form.

Why is that surprising? Here are the current playoff QBs if the season ended today:

Dak Prescott
Taylor Heinicke - no explanation needed
Daniel Jones - no explanation needed
Kirk Cousins - plays small in big games
Jalen Hurts - unproven in playoffs
Tom Brady - stud in playoffs
Jimmy Garrapolo - defense carries that team

The only bonified/proven stud at QB in the playoffs is Brady. It's pretty easy to make an argument for Dak even if you don't like him.

Dak Prescott - plays small in big games, unproven in playoffs except to lose big, No stud here, unlikely to ever lead the Cowboys to the SB, proven choker in big games, bad game management and questionable QB skills.[/QUOTE]

You are missing the point. No one is saying that Dak is a playoff stud. They are just saying that their is only one other NFC QB that will be in the playoffs that they trust more in the playoffs. Tom Brady is the only QB currently slated to be in the playoffs that has done anything. Thus you could make the argument that Dak could be the 2nd most trusted QB in the playoffs in the NFC. Who are you putting ahead of him besides Brady? Taylor Heinicke and Daniel Jones have never played in a playoff game. Jalen Hurts played in one last year and got totally destroyed. It was 31-0 at halftime. Kirk Cousins? Guy just got destroyed by Dak and company. He basically curled up in a fetal position in both the Eagles and Cowboys game this year because he was getting beat up so bad. Jimmy G? - I guess you could make an argument for him because he doesn't have to do much because of the 49ers defense. Although his stupid interception last year in thre playoffs allowed the Cowboys to get back in the playoff game against the 49ers. Their running game and D had us finished and Jimmy G's mistake opened the door.

You said this though....

LOL.

The Niners literally are playing Jimmy G because their starting QB got hurt. The guy they traded up for lol. You guys are amazing in your delusions. San Francisco would run here to get Dak over Jimmy. Heck. They dont even like Jimmy. They are playing him out of necessity.

And Dak has been as good as hurts this year. In multiple seasons. 2016 comes to mind. lol. Jesus.

That's what I am referring too.

Trying to compare Dak and Hurts this season is about as worthless as the poster that compared Dak and Allens career stats (yes, career stats when Dak has played longer) while also leaving out rushing stats in the comparsion (I know, right?).

The point the other poster made, and I agree with, is Dak has never been as good as Hurts is right now, in any year, through the first 11 games when you look at the overall body of work.

If "never" means other than the 3 full seasons he had a higher qbr than Hurts has right now....then yes....Hurts has been better than Dak has ever been lol

You bet me that Dak would have a better season than Mahomes, Ken.

Your opinion on QBs are forever tainted.

Hey man. I was referring to wins and losses by each QB. Then you decided to bring Rush into it. Would you take Hurts over rush? I bet you would. But you like to try and paint the picture that Rush and Dak are the same lol. So it is irrelevant.

If W/L's are literally the only distinguishable thing between QBs then why wouldn't Cooper Rush be in that talk?

I would take Hurts over Rush or Dak and it has nothing to do with W/L's and everything to do with overall skill and ability.

Every time you respond with this, it just means you can't argue my point.

BTW...may not want to count your chickens before they hatch....currently Dak is beating Mahomes in 2 of the 5 categories we bet on. Completion % and Ints.

I would say there is an outside chance that Dak can still beat him in Rating...which would mean you lose. Currently 105 to 95.

It just means that you have no point because you have proven that when talking QBs you are biased and can't look at things logically.

Oh stop. Mahomes could not play another game this season and finish with better numbers than Dak.

I wouldn't lose this bet regardless because you already called the bet off when Dak got hurt. I just like to remind people that you made the bet to begin with.

So funny.

So your saying you get to keep bringing up a bet that was null and void but if it turns out Dak still wins the bet, i don't get to bring it up?

lol

Yes, Mahomes has been amazing this year and his yards and Tds are untouchable by Dak. A couple of rough games though....all of a sudden Dak passes him in rating.

Then you will NEVER hear the end of it because you have been such a pompous *** about it.

Just FYI.

Of course I'm going to bring it up anytime you try and talk to me about QB play to show that you think with your heart over your mind.

True. The team were 4-1 with a practice squad QB this season including beating the Bengals and Washington. His value to the team isn't as much as his contract.
Rush has been in the system 4-5 years. It's good that he was able to start for Prescott early on in the season and backed up by our potent defense. The offensive point production and scoring to date has increased since Prescott is back, not decreased.

I didn't say it was all Rush either.

The Bills or Chiefs aren't going 4-1 without their QBs. Because their QBs are actual difference makers.

You're falling into the "I think Dak is better and more important than he really is" trap over and over, year after year.

Then the playoffs will come and we'll get bullied, some will make excuses while others accept it for what it is (for a few weeks), then once the next season starts Dak will be "great" again. That's just how it goes.

I don't even know who kc's backup is (so that's saying something lol) but I think chase daniel could hold down the fort for the bills

Bar injury Hurts will be an All Pro this season and probably First Team plus he's probably second in the MVP conservation behind Mahomes right now. Supports your above assertion.

Its interesting that you brought up Hurts and the Eagles.

Hurts won that game did he? LOL. My God some of you make me laugh.

I mean... he did set the record for most rushing yards by a qb. Ugh :(

I mean I don't see why others don't see this.

Do they just not want to accept it because he plays for the Eagles? If so, that's just making you look foolish.

It doesn't mean we won't beat them or that Hurts won't regress, but through 11 games he's better than any version of Dak we've seen through 11 games.
