To beat the Eagles you have run the football and get them behind on the scoreboard. Washington did that and they don’t have close to the offensive line, running backs or quarterback that we do. I just wonder if Kellen is willing to run the ball 70% of the time.
Well, they ran it almost 60% vs. the Jaguars.

I am hoping the addition of TY Hilton will bring a savvy route running weapon to the Cowboys offense who can find the soft spots in coverage and just catch the damn ball. Of course, how much chemistry he and Dak can drum up is key. This could also help the running game. Defenses right now are not fearing the Cowboys passing attack.

Unfortuantely any other gm would have been fired for letting cooper leave to resign gallup. But it is what it is. I wanted to trade gallup as soon as we drafted ceedee. We got like 3 games with all 3 wrs on the field. So sad

I don't get this Gallup bashing. Not that long ago, Kellen Moore was apologizing for not getting Gallup more involved in the game. Not that long ago Gallup was making some great contested catches to help the Cowboys offense. Then he has one game where Dak chose not to throw to him and all of a sudden he should be cut? What kind of crazy talk is this?

Brown had the hot hand so throwing to the hot hand is not a bad idea. On that 3rd and long, CeeDee was triple covered. Apparently Gallup was covered. So Dak went to Brown who could have made teh catch had the ball been thrown in bound a little bit. Brown had position.

The Cowboys scored 34 points. That should have been enough to win by a lot. The defense was at fault in this game more than the offense, although both share some blame. Gallup has made some big plays for Dallas in some big games.

We just have to face it, the Cowboys did not play well enough to win when it counted. It was not one player's fault.

He was never that good. Hes a borderline #2/3 wr. We let a real #1 leave to sign a giy like that coming of a late acl injury

Good point about TY. He just needs to take attention away from CeeDee. I don’t understand what happened to our defense we played well for a half and the first two drives of the quarter. Then we got hit by a big mojo moment.:huh:

-----WR group is probably the worst outside of the Giants

Really??? Why didn't you listen to ol' Mannix back in August when I told you that we were bottom 5 in the league??? A couple of you actually believed that we were top 5....I saw this mess coming during yet ANOTHER disastrous FA period. And this is WAY more than just letting Cooper go....which was the correct decision.

We have one legitimate receiver in CeeDee Lamb, who is starting to look like the receiver we thought we will get after drafting him. Tremendous in space.

Gallup is giving the team virtually nothing on a week to week basis. One of the worst in the entire league to gaining separation, haven't seen one deep pass stretching the field, which was his calling card. He has become a finesse, underneath receiver this season, post injury.

With Gallup's lack of production this season, Noah Brown has be forced to become the team's #2 receiver. Nothing against Brown, who has played well, but on a good team he is more of a 4th or 5th type of receiver. The team is using him as their deep threat and go to guy when teams double up Lamb. This is a total miscast.

We have gotten nothing out of James Washington since he has been activated. There is a reason why the team signed Hilton and are still chasing OBJ, as this group is probably the worse in the conference outside the Giants receivers. Our passing game is pretty much Lamb and Dalton Shultz. Something has to change or our passing offense can easily be shutdown.
NEWS FLASH - JJ never had any intensions in signing OBJ! All talk to take the pressure off of him with the Cowboy fan base.

Gallup can get
Open deep and is awesome at sideline catches.
If you can’t use this guy you just suck at your job

My point was the NFC Playoff Teams, not the entire league. There are "hoping" a over 30 player who has been sitting on his couch can make an impact and a average receiver breaking out in Washington.
No hope, gut feel..these vets may not have an impact on 17 game season but 3 RS and a playoff run , yes they will be inspired to do so like max effort. seen guys like TB12 play late into their ages and others ... see peters as an example no 60 play games or full seasons but impactful when in limited reps. YES, answer YES..i also fully expect Gallup to get right, im putting some of this on MOORE not horrible play caller but the offensive pass route tree is played out ,easy to defend , so many routes ran too close together with some super basic patterns etc.. he uses some creativity on when to call pays and also formations and motions are pretty good at times but doesn't change the route trees etc , his offense does not scheme players open..IMHO

case in point OBJ did help the rams in 8 games and the playoffs. so, TY can have that type of impact.nothig spectaular but keep D more honest i believe he will be better than Brown so that helps the 3 and 4 spots just puts TY at 3 and Brown at 4.

But he doesn't catch anything deep...having said that, I want a WR who can catch balls on the other 98% of the field.

Dez is done, Amari is done, Ceedee isn't living up to expectations, Gallup has lost it... so maybe it, just maybe could it another common denominator?

Going to be very difficult upgrading over what we currently have at WR for a few years.
Large contracts looming.

Dak can’t make that throw. When was the last time this offense hit on a deep shot?

the deep ball is always uncatchable and a wasted down
