Was ironically close to the 2007 season finale stinker they laid in Washington and finished 13-3. That was probably our best team this decade

Final score 27-6

Romo 7-16, 86 yards 1 INT
Brad Johnson 7-11, 79 yards

Marion Barber III 6 rushes, -6 yards
Julius Jones 8 rushes, 7 yards

Meanwhile Todd Collins went 22/31 244 yards, 1 TD

If we lose next week and people erupt into talk about making a change, let me point out the following:

The Cowboys have not been back to the Super Bowl since Rowdy became official mascot. Coincidence? I think not!

I get it though. Even when they win I feel like I am wasting my time. At least I have gotten rid if baseball in my life

Alright, I need someone to convince me we won't be one and done.
better to have this game in week 18 than 9. Dak cannot do worse next week even if he tried. Tampa is 8-9 was terrible today. We could easily lose next week but we are massively overdue to win a road playoff game and we rarely lose 2 in a row.

WAAAHHHHH! The guys are tired my rear end. What about every other team out there this weekend that played their tails off Mike???
There's NO excuse whatsoever for such a stinking performance as that. And as long as they have somebody to make up stupid excuses for them, they'll keep on taking advantage of it.
You do realize Dallas played their last 2 games on the road, and the Commanders had their last two at home? And Dallas played a must win game before that against the Eagles.

Yes, everybody is tired, but Washington had to be fresher...

That was in the pouring rain, Dallas had nothing to play for. Fwiw romo hit miles austin on a slant that should have gone 60 for a td and he just flat let it go through his hands. They pulled the offense at the half because the weather was so bad. That Dallas team was managing injuries the final 3 weeks to Romos thumb, andre gurode, chris canty and anthony henry. They were all banged up in the previous week vs the panthers except romo who injured his thumb two weeks before vs the eagles.

Also, that was Joe Gibbs washington team that played excellent defense and was very physical on the line of scrimmage. Light years better than this team that whipped Dallas today.

This game today and that game was apples and oranges. This team today was playing a third string rookie quarterback and Dallas was playing to be the 1 seed, Dallas in 07 was the 1 seed. It's a shame so many fans of this team do not know its own history.

It's the curse of Jerry Jones saying "anyone can coach this team to a Super Bowl"
Yep. A drunken Jerry told a group of sportswriters in a hotel bar (in 1994) that "there were 500 coaches who could've won the Super Bowl with this team", or words to that effect. The media had a feast. I remember it, sent chills down my back and this organization still suffers for his foolishness.

Joe Gibbs coached the team that is a term that doesn't seem to be accepted by this editor */ (which you probably tried to type in above)

I remember the Cardinals getting absolutely worked in the game before the finale to the tune of 47-7 against the Patriots before falling just short in the Super Bowl to the Steelers.

Anyone watch the post game press conference and was the media even allowed to ask questions concerning this game? Or did Dak say something like "we'll try to build on the positives and get better next week"??

OMG... Rowdy is Keyser Soze. Who knew? (from the great movie "the Usual Suspects) That explains everything.
