-the Bills defense was shredded by Burrow

Allen played just as poorly as Dak did, if not worse. Either way, he sucked and his team disappointed FAR worse than the Cowboys did.

So MAYBE instead of wishing we had Patrick Mahomes, it makes more sense to build around a top-10 QB like Dak.

Even a top 3 QB like Josh Allen hasn't gotten it done when it counts. It takes a great TEAM.

That said, he is paid and billed as elite. He is not.

paid like elite? elite is top 3. he is 8th highest. the top 14 QBs in the league make 30m and above. then there is a huge drop off of 50%. goff, cousins and wnents make 32-35.

that's the league. top player Rodgers makes 50M, followed by wilson at 48M and murray/Watson at 46M. last two haven't done squat and no where close to elite.

and Burrow, herbert, Lawrence are coming up for redo very quickly.

Dak is not elite. not paid like elite and he needs help around him. and teams like SF, Philly were able to do it having non-elite QBs. they built a team, the right coaches, the right culture.
