I can't think of a better OC than Tony Romo

Watch more football, dude. Stop pretending you actually know the nuances of NFL offenses/schemes. Moore's offense is much much more aggressive, especially with hitting downfield.

"It comes up short" - as do most offense. I guess 99% of offensive coordinators are the same.
Much more aggressive? Who cares? The stupidity is eerily similar and the results in the playoffs are equally pathetic. I didn't say they ran an identical offense, regular season hero's then lost come playoff time. That was Garrett's offense and it's the same deal here. Save the nuance garbage. It's laughable.

He has a nice cushy job, making more money than he can spend.
Why would he want to get into coaching bunch of whiny players, and deal with the Jones?

Not every QB can be an OC. We have no clue if Romo can do that. There is more to coaching than what romo has ever done.

If CBS is actually getting tired of Tony Romo, as clickbait titles suggest, then he would be a great voice in the ear of the QB as a QB coach, and probably a top notch offensive coordinator. He loves the game, is a student of the game, and would be tremendously effective at designing plays. Few collarbone injuries in the offensive coordinator world, right?

Yes, the Dak-Romo relationship is probably a bit icy, but that can be a good thing too, both would have to be intentionally professional in their discussions.

What? How in the world am I taking this personally? It's an idea that could work out for the Cowboys success.

Wait, is this one of those trolling posts when you just repeatedly tell someone to calm down, when they already are calm, just to get them angry?

A guy too lazy to do a few hours of homework to prepare for broadcasting games is going to put in 80 hours a week to be a coach? In what alternate universe?
That myth that Romo is/was “lazy” and “Hollywood” is a stupid fabrication that has gone on entirely too long. I’d wager that Romo’s bored with the extra politics/fashion modeling that goes with broadcasting. Their priority is click$.

Ronnie will believe any BS unless it comes to Zeke and Dak.

Romo worked hard his entire career here, but suddenly, he's lazy with a much comfier job. Right.

That's right.

People have convenient memory loss...because they think it's so cool and in the know...to hate on Romo.

How many times does Romo have to go back out and win the game, before the percentages wear him down?

"But steve...he threw that interception to end the game , ya dolt".

Oh yeah? And...they wouldnt' even BE there if Tony didn't put the team on his back.

I;d post the stats that show tony was a great QB who understood the game, and did decide to take the risks of putting the team on his back....but haters don't care. Those stats have been there all along, and they still ignore 'em.

We'd be lucky for him to teach Dak a thing or two. That other feller Warner might be a good choice too.

I can;t exactly argue about the results....but if you think these two QB's are equal....you're nuts. Sure///tony did have a coupel good WR's....but he also had the likes of Miles Austin, Sam Hurd, Patrick Crayton, a bust of a Roy Williams.

bad idea hes not an OC and never has been. Most importantly hes really not interested or motivated to be one at this time. i want an experienced OC or one that ready to be elevated to that role on a successful team maybe as a QBC etc..

Maybe he is just too busy milking up some warm sun Canjun ?

Would think we'd need an established, well experience well regarded OC, .. not an "experimental " OC.

Tony really helped Dak, when Dak was a rookie.
They seem to have a good relationship ?
Except every report that came from inside that locker room was he didnt, it was sanchez... However I have no idea how good or bad Romo would be at it... Probably has some really good ideas on how to attack a defense.

Why would Romo take a lot less in money to do a lot more work? Isn’t CBS complaining about the time he prepares now over the last season? Hardly sounds like he’s ready to put in way more work for way less money,

A couple of reasons to not do this.

1) Another learn-on-the-job coach. It hasn't paid off for Dallas, and it likely never will.

2) Romo isn't serious enough to give the job 100%. He might at first, but he'll slack off pretty quick.

This thread still has people coming in with the "he's not motivated" nonsense even AFTER the article this is all stemming from has been completely debunked by CBS themselves.

No surprise the people eating this up have a bunch of avatars of players from the 70s. Boomers, a generation that ate up propaganda from the mainstream. Worthless opinions.
