We don’t even have cap space right now for a trade. This team is media clip after media clip.

I'm sure Jerry probably promised his wife something big once upon a time as well and just like her we are gonna be disappointed

Well, they got JJ, Stephen, and Charlotte. I don't think that's a disappointment to her.

Who said he was begging?

Where do you guys get this trash from?
From the Jones boys themselves. McCarthy had to ask them. You can pretend it's not begging if it makes you feel better. A real HC makes that decision himself. In Dallas, Jerry Jones is the real head coach.

If true, I am for that. But that’s not what it stated.

They said “Dak has next season to prove he’s the guy”. So say they win a few playoff games, do they extend him? If they don’t plan to, they will be stuck with the massive cap hit. That’s the conundrum.

I just can’t give up multiple high picks and Stroud sits for 3 years
I think "next season" is 2023 season. I think this is his last year under this contract. A lot of decisions need to be made cap wise, and Dak's money is obstructing that. The question becomes, how many picks are you giving up, and who are you picking?

No doubt. This goes back as soon as Jerry started here.

I still remember the moving up for Adrian Peterson and Darren McFadden threads lol
Lol it gets crazy and they set themselves up every year with hate and stress lmao

Don’t the Cowboys have to restructure Dak before they do anything? I mean they can restructure Zeke, Tyron and Martin but that would only be enough to tag Pollard.

If he were still a legit HC, he wouldn't be begging the owners to let him call the plays. He'd make the decision and that would be that.

Two very good questions ksk

Why are you putting money in? Did you know Dallas is at the minimum 125mil under the cap next yr. Stop worrying about jerrys money.
How does that happen

Keep in mind that for 2025 there are only 13 players under contract (as of today).

Season
Cap Space
2023
-$7,198,743.00
2024
$84,211,188.00
2025
$208,677,080.00
2026
$277,900,000.00

So we would have 80 million to play with??
