The Brandin Cooks trade doesn't solve the problem. It is the problem!

Don’t blame ‘the fanbase’, blame this particular poster throwing a tantrum because the team didn’t acquire the name he’d hoped for. It’s nothing more than that.
LOL... Read my post again. Read every one of them and tell me I'm "throwing a tantrum". I'm sharing an opinion. One based on decades of knowledge and understanding of this game.

LOL... I always wonder how guys can post 30,000+ times and only have 7,000 likes. You helped clear that up for me... Thanks!
heh - cause i went away for a few years after they changed how that is calculated.

if all you have is attacking my post count / reactions, then its just as bad as they say - you ain't got ****.

He has never been Dumped . . . He has been actively pursued by Super Bowl Contenders . . . And up until this point He has secured a Bounty in return
When you're that focused on semantics, one has to wonder if your point is valid.

I agree that Cooks is a great acquisition. Just trying to figure out WHY HE KEEPS CHANGING TEAMS. There is that better for you? Maybe you can focus on the question now?

oh you are most certainly throwing a tantrum. wanna attack my avatar now? anything else sideshow bob wants to do other than use his own logic against his own statements?

This is what you respond w/? I cannot begin to state how weak of a response this is.

Oh I am. Including the ones in which your tantrum includes name calling of people disagreeing with you.

great. now he's going to go print up a "NFL Wide Receivers Expert" certificate for you.

and what is funny, when i started posting again, i wondered who would be the first goober to go after my post / reaction count. :)

NO MORE CALLS!!!! we have a whiner and it didn't take long.

OBJ has proven, that when healthy (which he is), he is a top-tier WR in this league. Plan and simple.

I'm not obsessed with "names" if i were, they wouldn't be OBJ and DHop. They are elite WRs who are "available".
How do you know that with OBJ?

By the time the season starts he will be almost 4 years removed from his last top season, and 7 years removed from his last elite level season.

And there is no way to know what affect 4 years and 2 knee surgeries will have had on him. It would be very rare for someone to come back after that and be the same player they were at their best.

No but year 2 at 16 mill is still not high for a WR, not when you see guys like Cooper making 23 mill a season with 2 years remaining. We get Cooker for 12 this season and if they choose to play out the deal 16.5 in 2024. I think people lose track for the cost on these deals where top WR is getting 30 mill.
I am only saying that this year they can afford Him . . . Next year . . . Maybe not

If you were not the type to get butt hurt on discussion boards . . . You will see I have answered you question

I mean no one knows for sure... but I know enough about football and watch enough tape to feel very confident in it.

My only issue with this is his size, but all will be forgotten if he makes plays cornsistently.

No, I could care less about what the vast majority of this board thinks. They are wrong all the time.

I sat here and argued that Micah Parsons and Tyler Smith were great picks with these same folks. It be what it be.

But you are a troll. A clown. That's not me being mad, that's just the truth.
But you are pulling the old..."I know more than you "card. Honestly I don't mind your opinion in the OP even though I disagree. It's the follow up.

Hopkins hasn't had a 1000 yard season in 2 years and was injured in both and suspended for PED use. OBJ literally will have 1-2 wow games and then he's injured or not involved. Hasn't been playing at all. I don't think the upside of either is what you think. DHop may be on the Julio Jones trajectory where time caught up quickly. We got a good deal out of this and didn't invest much when we have Lamb. I don't get the hand wringing. It may not work but I like it vs investing a 2nd and money into a guy who hasn't stayed on the field
