As was the QB's composure???
Do you blame him? He only had 1 good receiver who was being doubled and his only good RB was seriously injured before halftime. Plus, Dak constantly had pressure in the pocket. Extremely hard to play well with only 1 weapon while constantly under duress against the league's #1 Defense.

There are certainly factors that combine, however, the final decision is always on the QB, therefore he can't be absolved as the final reckoning's on him.
This can not be disputed. Any rebuttal is an excuse to justify bad decision making.

Bad decision making by Rayne Dakota Prescott is the foundational piece to team offensive failure.

No play caller, scheme or added team support can overcome Dak Prescott's poor decision making.

They have no case.

You're supposed to be smart enough to realize his lack of weapons, injury riddled Oline, poor route running, one of the worst separation receiving groups and an O-Coordinator who failed at scheming better routes or playcalls. But let's do it your way and simply just blame it on Dak.

I'm not saying Dak wasn't without blame. He was bad at times, including decision making, but he truly had a limited crew around him most of the season last year.
...you forgot to blame the water boy and laundry crew.

Everyone is emotionally but hurt but the one who’s name calling and reporting posts…ok lol. Sure. You got it champ! Have you ever noticed that some people who criticize Dak on this site gets respect from the “Daksters” or whatever y’all call them? Notice how some don’t? Try being like the respectable posters and less sensitive and maybe you wouldn’t feel so attacked? Maybe actually look up what criticize is as well?
Respectable? Even if you got the word tattooed on your arse you wouldn't know what it means.

So Moore's playcalling was great against TB but crap against SF? Okay. Funny how Dak gets the praise for TB but Moore gets the blame for SF.
Woof woof give good old Dakko a dog playoff team or a team like the Eagles who were indifferent and without their starting QB and he is da man!
He points to the heavens and then does the DAKCHOKA dance against a real team like the Niners.
Who we held to 23 and 19 pts respectively......:yourock:

P.S. Heck we held the Chiefs in there HOUSE to 19 pts (the great Mahomes) and still LOST!!!!!

Not very good at it yet has one of the highest completion rates and rarely turns the ball over with last year being the exception…..make it make sense…..
Completion ratio is not a reliable indicator of accuracy as it doesn't factor in difficulty. I can pace off fifteen feet and throw an axe into a tree with a 100% completion percentage. If I start throwing from random distances and/or the tree starts running and/or the squirrels start throwing nuts at me, and/or my wife starts pestering me as to why I'm messing around with an axe when I should be mowing the lawn, my comp% will go way down.

Dak clearly tried to step up and respond to the criticisms that have been expressed about him since day one and which went to another level after the disappointing performance in the playoffs. He had a running game that took a lot of pressure off him and a defense that did the same, so he got away with it against teams like the Bears. When the running game tailed off, or when the defense had a hiccup, like against the Jags, his turnovers cost games. Against top level defenses he falls apart.

Last year wasn't a fluke. It was a representation of what Dak is when he steps outside of his "cautious Dak" comfort zone and tries to play like the QB he was paid to be.

Great post and the one question I have (which no man can answer given the female psyche) is why would your wife pester you given your accuracy with a throwing axe?

team offensive failure? 3rd in scoring. 10 total offense, 14th in passing (including the 100 yard game against the rams). 8th in rushing. 9th in TD passes. ok, I can see the offensive failure in those.

so you are focusing on Interceptions I presume. but you also licked the jocks of Herbert and Stafford. in 2021, stafford led the league in interceptions. Herbert had 15. you are still licking. before you respond, also see the interception percentages.

I am not saying, I don't care about the interceptions, so don't get your shorts tied in a knot, although you already have

aren't you upset we didn't give Dak more money. I was so hoping he would be the highest paid player in the league. it sucks that he is not. maybe next year. I think he should ask for $60M and stay here for another 5 years so you can continue to post. otherwise I will miss you

so doesn't the same logic go for every other QB? or is that the logic just for Dak debate? over a course of a season, with 100s of throws and over the course of several seasons now into 1000s, the completion percentage will start to normalize around what you are and is an indication of your accuracy. with QBs, its never one single stat that explains everything, but the collection. so no, you are wrong, it is a reliable indicator, as inaccurate QBs tend to have lower percentage. ala Rush!.

and in Dak's 7 years, this is by far the most interception and interception percentages he has, yet, you take this year as "not a fluke" but a representation of who he is. yet completely ignoring the other 6, why? because it doesn't fit your narrative.

and Dak is not elite. he does need to be less aggressive. I am not arguing that.

I think she (and many others) isn't focusing on the subtle difference between a tight window throw and throwing to a covered receiver, both of which show up as a tight window throw in that stat. Dak having the highest tight window throw rate was not a good thing for this team. Many of his mental mistakes were on his "tight window throws" which just should not have been thrown. He often missed the open receiver for the covered receiver or threw it when he should have just throw it away. Also, his lack of arm strength led to some tight window throws that may not have been as risky for some other QBs. I think the number one thing Dak needs is a teacher in his ear every day. Many will disagree, but I feel we can be successful playoff team with him IMO, but not if he plays like he did last season. There was just throw after throw after throw where you had to scratch your head and wonder what the heck he was doing.

Didnt seem to affect his play vrs the Bucc's.....NOBODY is just blaming Dak, that's a Strawman Argument.
Does Rush get those crybaby excuses against the Eagles or is that just for the turd prescott? Dang if he does then Rush is better than we all think. No offensive line, no offensive coordinator, no playmakers, no running backs, and no wide receivers. wow, that Rush guy is the next Montana.
