Terence Steele working out

Injuries and this forum are a funny relationship. We swear our timelines are all BS and guys will be out way longer than the medical/team statements say. In reality injuries are person by person, and more teams than just ours misjudge timelines. If you play fantasy you know this lol.

Obviously Jerry’s unbridled confidence is annoying, but when it comes to official team statements I don’t see why everyone is so skeptical of the official timelines given for players. Not to mention we have possibly the best training staff/surgical staff in football.

It's good to see Terence making progress in his bid to reclaim his RT job.

I'll be looking forward to seeing him once again in the lineup.

He was missed last year in the games he was out.

OLinemen have tremendous leg strength. Roberto Garza started at center for the Falcons and Bears for many years. He did not have an ACL in either leg. It was discovered during a physical his free agent year..went on to start in a SB for the Bears. Steele may be ready for the season. That would be great.

Good ....... though I expected him to be working to be ready for next season.

Based on what we just saw, it is very possible he can be ready out of the gate next season.

More than "possible." Unless something extraordinary occurs it's almost a lock.

I've repeated this numerous times, but the current ACL recovery timeline isn't a full year, as it once might have been. A 2016 study of 80 amateur athletes showed 80 percent returned to sports after an eight-month period. Pro athletes get the best doctors and therapists. Newer procedures are reducing that time down even further.

Date of Injury: Dec 11
7 months later: June 11
8 months later: Jul 11
9 months later: Aug 11

As we can see he's already well into his recovery and it's not even April. He'll have full movement and strength back before camp.

This lessens the need for drafting another 1st rd offensive lineman. Yes, they need a contingent plan when Tyron misses time, which he,will, but that can be found later in the draft or even fa. All we need is a spot starting Guard.

And not all acl "tears" are the same, I know people who had their acl completely torn in half (ouch) and others who just had it partially torn. Don't remember if Steele's was the former or the latter case, in any event like you said different people heal differently.

Take the best player on the board and we know it won’t be a guard at 26th. Broaddus thinks the Cowboys could go Avila or Torrence in the first round. So who really knows
