Dalton Schultz left in free agency, and the Cowboys never replaced him. Let's get Dak Prescott a talented safety valve here.

Mel is the definition of a media pundit. All he does is spew what he hears the teams should do, based on what he hears their needs are. They lost the starter so they need to draft a new one. It's obvious, just look at some of his picks. First 4 all QB's, does anyone think that will happen this year? Anyone think Wright is going before Skoronski and Jones? I sure don't.

IMO, he is not good at player evals and mocks.

If the draft fell this way, I would be looking at Bresee, Hoover, Simpson or McDonald before a TE.

Generally speaking, a TE is not a position you invest a 1st round and the accompanying 5th year option.

I like the picks but hate the fact that I love the Eagles first three picks.
In their offense, Gibbs at pick 37 would turn out to be an Offensive Rookie of the Year nominee.

And yes, I do expect Wright to go before Jones. 50/50 on Skoronski but definitely Jones.

I'll let Mel know that they only guy who had Tyler Smith to Dallas just isn't any good at this.

I expect the Lions to make a big leap this season, and very possible they win the NFCN.
With those picks, it would certainly put more into them being the favorite.
