I had reached the same point with Romo. The point where I realized he was not that guy. But I will say this, I think Romo would have given the team a better chance to win than Dak would have during his rookie season especially in the playoffs. They could have saved the fine wine for the playoff run if they wanted. I can't believe Romo's career ended with a masterful touchdown drive that looked like child's play. I would have at least given him a series or 2 every game to see that kind of masterful QB play have a chance to continue. I understand why the team didn't, but I am not sure I could have left Romo on the sidelines full time after that last drive. It would have been a nightmare for an opponent defense to prepare for RPO Dak and Romo who at that point could sniff everything a defense was coming with pre snap and spin the ball at a high level. Romo was bad back waiting to happen again but in a limited change up role I think they missed out. Game prep for 2 entirely different QBs by the opponent was a lost advantage IMO.
