the most childish thing they say is, haters" No we're Cowboys fans. We're not individual players fans over the Cowboys team. If they are a position that needs to be updated, I don't give two crap about who the player is. Move on from the turd. Make my team better, don't hero-worship some guy who's not making the team better. Now the saying is, let's make dak a bus driver and keep him from making mistakes. Sheesh, your car's motor has a broke block, let's put more duct tape on it instead of getting a new one.

Some of these idiots probably were scared to get rid of the boat anchor Garrett.

smh
Two things will always be certain my friend, there will always be hope, and there will always be those that have absolutely zero ability to even entertain the notion of being able to evaluate talent.

They rely on stats and desire, more than actual linear thought process that can or could be transcending as far as player talent evaluation.

If you asked the average Dak lover extremist what they thought the difference between Kearse vs Hooker level it would be highly entertaining.

Would love to see rankings for Kearse, Hooker, Wilson poll, and this is basic observation level.

I like the terminology. Wish I thought of it. He is clearly over-hated. But last year gave the goofballs like crappydog the ammo they've been waiting for. He needs to be better than he was in 22. I believe losing Moore and gaining Cooks will help. We'll see.
Sure, by the 6 haters. Why pay them any attention?

sorry this is wrong, NFL history is full of qb's who played 10-15 yhears with one team and had a string of changing WR's many of which went to pro bowls because of the QB
Agreed.

Dak has done pretty good. Several WRs and a TE have gone to Pro Bowls with the help of Dak...

CeeDee Lamb
Amari Cooper
Dez Bryant
Jason Witten

FYI, Dalton Schultz should have been selected to a Pro Bowl in 2021. He had 808 yards receiving with a 10.4 yards/reception average with 8 TDs. Easily Pro Bowl numbers for a Tight End. He got robbed. Dak gave up his Pro Bowl selection in 2021 (4,449 passing yards with a franchise record 37 passing TDs) in order to fully heal his previous season's badly broken leg.

So you're saying Dak doesn't have talent as a QB?

We'll see the true level of talent this year with: a better receiving corp, a different OC, a W(T)CO offense, more diverse TE that helps a varied play action by the very fact he can block/receive.

My hope is that he/we rely more on YAC and moving the chains.....my fear is that he thinks he's playing for another (top contract) and has to justify this through his talents.

Still waiting for a discussion on strength of presented points and league wide indicators. Not just a list of stereotypes that don't match up with any actual poster. That is unless the poster's IQ doesn't reach the level of sedimentary rock....c',mon.

Never a disappointment as is above, one always responds without a true discussion - but the usual platter of insult followed by crap...such an amusement park menu.

You pulling for the role of parade commander?

OH, I get it...it's coming up for the 4th July.
Ever have you stood in formation for one of those? How about raise or lower the flag?

Darn, I forget that you are the one who wants both medals and a chest to pin them on....woooo hoooo!!

Ohhhhhhhhhh, here comes your fireworks...

Dak was being bashed for being named NFL’s Man of the Year. I’ve never seen a Cowboys player get roasted by their own fan base the way he does.
And yet we have people here making threads bashing Romo STILL....for his personal life. 8 years LATER for gods sakes!

Talk football and stay off the low class chatter, Ace...YOU came up in public school, don't claim insult as a personal attribute.

Just ask for a per word fine and see if you get that also!

I had reached the same point with Romo. The point where I realized he was not that guy. But I will say this, I think Romo would have given the team a better chance to win than Dak would have during his rookie season especially in the playoffs. They could have saved the fine wine for the playoff run if they wanted. I can't believe Romo's career ended with a masterful touchdown drive that looked like child's play. I would have at least given him a series or 2 every game to see that kind of masterful QB play have a chance to continue. I understand why the team didn't, but I am not sure I could have left Romo on the sidelines full time after that last drive. It would have been a nightmare for an opponent defense to prepare for RPO Dak and Romo who at that point could sniff everything a defense was coming with pre snap and spin the ball at a high level. Romo was bad back waiting to happen again but in a limited change up role I think they missed out. Game prep for 2 entirely different QBs by the opponent was a lost advantage IMO.
I agree that Romo and Dak are the same QB essentially when it matters most are not "the guy", but I don't agree that Romo would have given us a better chance than Dak's rookie season. Romo was made of tissue paper at that point and was breaking more bones than making plays at that point.

The problem Dak has to deal with...and fans...is that he CAN play so well...and then he can play so absolutely awful. This isn't just a fan "hater" opinion....there's plenty of write ups about it.

So lovers AND haters have valid opinion. Both right. And so they go toe to toe incessantly...trying to correct the other ones. Straight up crusades as if God's Avenging Angel. A few have lost their minds about it.

Sure...all players have their moments....certainly Romo did of course. And to this day Romo Haters call him a choker...even though his numbers absolutely show otherwise.

Dak Prescott makes the list as the sixth-biggest draft steal from 2013 to 2022, a 135th overall pick who’s thrown for 24,943 passing yards, 166 touchdowns, and 65 interceptions in seven seasons. Only Derrick Henry, Cooper Kupp, Davante Adams, Tyreek Hill, and Travis Kelce were bigger surprises. Trevon Diggs also made the list after slipping to the 51st pick in 2020.
