I'm not a Dak lover, I'm a Dak supporter. I see his flaws with a trained eye. That said, no amount of hate that I can spew will make a difference. I support him, because he has the skills and I saw that KM hung him out to dry to further his own career. I feel that MM will put Dak in good situations and we will have a good year. Dak haters and homers, we all support the same team. Don't forget that.
Agree with you
Success for Dak is the shortest path to success for Cowboys so I’ll be rooting for him

Who gets the tough yard?
Can TP handle 20 carries?
Can he line up on first down, first drive, hit the loaded box and get 3 ?
And make it to the 4th qtr?
Ready to ice a game against an 8 man front?
TP healthy from injury?
Zach holdout, Steele injury and Tyrons health
A group of nobody behind TP.
Mighty mouse going to add something?
RoJo suspension.
Just a few concerns.

You want to load the box good luck with that. This isn't last years receiving corp or RBs for the matter. You have a lot of shifty players here who can take a short pass the distance.

It doesn’t even make sense to care about Dak and not the team. They go hand in hand lol.
Its a weird dichotomy though. You can flip your statement around and say the same. "It doesn't even make sense to care about the team and not Dak." That too is true.

Its prevalent from both extremes, those that appear to Bash Dak at all costs are no different than those who support him at all costs. Its just two sides to the same coin and both sides certainly do exist. To me the ones who refuse to see this are the ones who are primarily doing it.

I am just like the OP. I refuse to not support someone who plays for this team. I also refuse to look blindly at "how" they play for the team (i.e. - the flaws). At the end of the day, I do understand that everyone wants the same thing. This team to win. I don't always agree with what is being said (both sides), but I do understand the frustrations. The truth is Dak is somewhere between the "can-do-no-wrong" and "can-do-no-right" quarterback that is argued about daily. And that is alright. I just wish it didn't invade every single conversation on here.

(I quoted Ranching here but he said it as perfectly as one could).

Here is to a good 2023 where we finally break the ceiling of the divisional round. I for one will be rooting for everyone who wears the star. All of them.

Show us ALL proof that there are posters on here that ONLY care about Dak's success and NOT the team - while some members may think more highly of Dak than many of his other defenders, I still can't recall a person saying they only care about Dak getting his no matter what happens to the team.
There are some whose first & primary response though is to start excusing and watering down any bad play by players they support.

If you are a true fan, you can objectively identify who played well & who played poorly regardless of the name on the back of the jersey.

I disagree with you here, hermano. When a Cowboys hater here says, "I can't wait to see Dak choke again so all of you Dak lovers will see what some of us already know." That's not a true fan of this team. What does it say about this site that bans the word "***" just in case there might be kids that posts here but leaves up "I hope Dak dies in a plane crash!" What does that tell us? I know it what it tells me.

I agree we all support the same team. But I've seen Dak play lights out great and then play like a freshmen in college and completely lost.

He is just too bi-polar for me, but of course I root for him every game, just hate not knowing what I'm going to get from him game to game.

It doesn’t even make sense. If Dak plays well we typically win.

It’s funny the trolls I saw showed up bragging about how we were winning without Dak and then Eagles loss happened and those same guys were ghost.
They had more faith in Rush than I did. I’ve said that it was a miracle that we went 4-1 and beat the Bengals with him at the Qb position

what some of Daks critics didn’t realize is that being critical of Dak doesn’t mean overhyping Cooper Rush

and by the way Marathon, I remember that you weren’t one of the guys that stayed away during Rushs win streak….you posted as you always have, but a couple others were having meltdowns. I know you saw that too, lol

Some people have been against Dak since he replaced Romo. Nothing he does will satisfy them. Then the other side tries to put him up on a pedestal. Nothing he does wrong is ever his fault. And the debate over what Dak is or isn't is getting old. Nobody's changing anybody's mind. I'm in the middle. When Dak plays well I'll give him all the credit in the world as I did in that TB game. It doesn't matter that they shouldn't have been in the playoffs to begin with, it was a big game to get that monkey off our back. But when he plays awful like during the 49er game I'm going to call him out on that too. Dak had an up and down season last year. He looked good in some games and awful in others. can't ever go on a SB run unless he plays better going forward. And it's better that Dak does improve because the amount of time looking for a new QB with these 2 bozo's in charge....lets just say I'm not getting any younger. I'm ready for some football. The defense should be great and I do want to see what this new offense looks like.

So, so tired of all the bickering over
Dak.
I don't love or hate him, and all the vitriol over him has gotten more than old.
Can't we all just get along ?

I don't have an agenda or "gotcha" post after this question but how did Moore hurt Dak?

It seemed like the offense under Moore saw improvements for Prescott. It's not like there was any bad blood between the two and IIRC wasn't Prescott upset they let Moore walk?
