Some people have been against Dak since he replaced Romo. Nothing he does will satisfy them. Then the other side tries to put him up on a pedestal. Nothing he does wrong is ever his fault. And the debate over what Dak is or isn't is getting old. Nobody's changing anybody's mind. I'm in the middle. When Dak plays well I'll give him all the credit in the world as I did in that TB game. It doesn't matter that they shouldn't have been in the playoffs to begin with, it was a big game to get that monkey off our back. But when he plays awful like during the 49er game I'm going to call him out on that too. Dak had an up and down season last year. He looked good in some games and awful in others. can't ever go on a SB run unless he plays better going forward. And it's better that Dak does improve because the amount of time looking for a new QB with these 2 bozo's in charge....lets just say I'm not getting any younger. I'm ready for some football. The defense should be great and I do want to see what this new offense looks like.
1000% with ya, champ!

I don't have an agenda or "gotcha" post after this question but how did Moore hurt Dak?

It seemed like the offense under Moore saw improvements for Prescott. It's not like there was any bad blood between the two and IIRC wasn't Prescott upset they let Moore walk?
Fair question.
I am curious as well as to the answer?

I would be over the moon excited for this season about the makeup of the roster. But, I've seen 4 in the post season, and my expectations are the same. I don't think he can, especially with the current makeup of the RB room in support, and therefore just have to wait this out.
Yeah, you don't think they can....gtho....see you next year.

They had more faith in Rush than I did. I’ve said that it was a miracle that we went 4-1 and beat the Bengals with him at the Qb position

what some of Daks critics didn’t realize is that being critical of Dak doesn’t mean overhyping Cooper Rush

and by the way Marathon, I remember that you weren’t one of the guys that stayed away during Rushs win streak….you posted as you always have, but a couple others were having meltdowns. I know you saw that too, lol
Oh for sure I stayed. I thought our season was over and still stayed on here I was happy we were winning. Rush did his thing I just had an issue with people saying we were winning because of him. The defense played lights out. But yeah it doesn’t shock me people stayed away from when we won without Dak. I enjoyed the ride that Bengals game was fun I think we would’ve been 0-2 had we lost?

There’s an increasingly long list of Eagles fans here and I don’t think they have much interest in seeing Dallas win. Their mere presence here speaks to the fact that they would rather see Dallas lose than Philly win. It’s an increasingly common but I think somewhat imbalanced approach to fandom.
Starting with the one that has Sirianni as his avatar

I’m a Dak fan but yeah I can’t say he hurt him. They won games together but it became troublesome when a good defense comes through and we couldn’t even score 10 points unless it was the Eagles.

Who gets the tough yard?
Can TP handle 20 carries?
Can he line up on first down, first drive, hit the loaded box and get 3 ?
And make it to the 4th qtr?
Ready to ice a game against an 8 man front?
TP healthy from injury?
Zach holdout, Steele injury and Tyrons health
A group of nobody behind TP.
Mighty mouse going to add something?
RoJo suspension.
Just a few concerns.
You see the beauty of it is, we have coaches to answer that.

Would I love to sign another back? Absolutely.

But I can’t poo poo on the group until they prove they stink.

But this is also the trend a lot of teams are going. Look at Kansas City.

Prescott made the fan base on this forum what it is today.

And as we all know by now, both good and bad sides rear their head.

He is the most polarizing player on this team and it’s not even close.

I go back to the final regular season game against Washington. He was putrid.

Then next week against Tampa? He was great.

And finally against SF?…he resorted back to putrid.

Dak alone and his Jekyll and Hyde play has caused all of the mud slinging and stone throwing amongst fans on this site.

There are some whose first & primary response though is to start excusing and watering down any bad play by players they support.

If you are a true fan, you can objectively identify who played well & who played poorly regardless of the name on the back of the jersey.
Objectively? No matter how well Dak plays and the Cowboys you haters will whine about every incompletion.

It seems like the so-called hate escalated significantly following his last contract. That contract made Dak the highest paid QB at that time.

Many argued at that point that Dak was not worth the contract. In the end, it doesn’t matter as the contract represented the market value at that time.

The contract is what it is, but the "you cannot get rid of me unless I let you" is what it is.

Anyone that worries about another man's money is very insecure
