It doesn’t even make sense to care about Dak and not the team. They go hand in hand lol.
Its a weird dichotomy though. You can flip your statement around and say the same. "It doesn't even make sense to care about the team and not Dak." That too is true.
Its prevalent from both extremes, those that appear to Bash Dak at all costs are no different than those who support him at all costs. Its just two sides to the same coin and both sides certainly do exist. To me the ones who refuse to see this are the ones who are primarily doing it.
I'm not a Dak lover, I'm a Dak supporter. I see his flaws with a trained eye. That said, no amount of hate that I can spew will make a difference. I support him, because he has the skills and I saw that KM hung him out to dry to further his own career. I feel that MM will put Dak in good situations and we will have a good year. Dak haters and homers, we all support the same team. Don't forget that.
I am just like the OP. I refuse to not support someone who plays for this team. I also refuse to look blindly at "how" they play for the team (i.e. - the flaws). At the end of the day, I do understand that everyone wants the same thing. This team to win. I don't always agree with what is being said (both sides), but I do understand the frustrations. The truth is Dak is somewhere between the "can-do-no-wrong" and "can-do-no-right" quarterback that is argued about daily. And that is alright. I just wish it didn't invade every single conversation on here.
(I quoted Ranching here but he said it as perfectly as one could).
Here is to a good 2023 where we finally break the ceiling of the divisional round. I for one will be rooting for everyone who wears the star. All of them.
