Martin's fines are over 500K so far

$50k per year for 10 years.
$25k per year for 20 years.
The people who don't make $500k in a lifetime are choosing not to do so.
They aren't victims. Just sayin'.
You have to be pretty broke to not make 500k in a lifetime. That's just 5 years for a lot of people.

How many SB's have we won with Zack Martin at RG? What I meant was NFC Championships or playoff games? Maybe not his fault but this is a team sport right? Here's a thought Zack, how about winning something relevant and then asking for more money?

LOL.

If anything, it's been Jerry and his dipwad son that have let guys like Martin down. Guys who continued to play at an elite level while Jerry and his son mucked things up.

It's not a coincidence that D-Ware had to go to Denver to win a SB.

ha! Can you ask the same question to Dak?

Yeah, keep believing that.

Not true. CBA mandates they pay them now
I still believe it is Zack's Rep who will pay those fines (if Zack is smart and signed a good contract with his Rep).

If I were an NFL player and hired a Rep I would make sure the contract has a clause covering these situations, after all it is the Rep's best interest to make sure the player gets paid, so, hold ups and negotiations fees, penalties, etc should be directly paid by the Rep's or at least discounted from Rep's fees. That would be extra motivation for the Rep to close the deal quicker.

The other effect that no one is talking is the impact on the Team, especially the OL, I am sure it has caused some distraction and at some point, will impact the morale, Zack is no journeyman in that OL.

We'll see.

I would not give in to a what will be 33 year old RG. If he doesn't want to play, trade him for a late first round pick.
So you rightly state that a team shouldn't break bank for a 33 year old guard.

But then in the next sentence, you say we'll just dump him off to another team, who is dying to give us a FIRST round pick...for a 33 yr old guard that wants to break the bank.

You play Madden don't you?

Why don't we trade him to the Chiefs for Patrick Mahomes?

The irony of this all is he wants to be paid more money but just literally threw 500k away and counting. Make it make sense?
Does not make sense. Losing 50g a day every day that he holds out is detrimental to his wallet. A hold in would have made sense if he wanted to force more currency out of Jerry Jones. But could a owner (Jerry Jones) feasily give him a new contract or extension that would nod, nod wink, wink add exra money in his new deal that compensates for the fines collected while he was out?

No rep signs that deal. This money comes from Zack. As it should. Hes the one not showing up, not the rep.

I get that Zeke is the one not showing up, but isn't the Rep the one negotiating with Jones? Reps do advice players and is up to the player ultimately but....

If Rep tells Zack to hold out, Zack should say I will but fees on you. Just and idea that stuck on my head the first days I heard about Zack holding out

Re read what you posted. What agent in their right mind would do that? You think the agent is telling him to hold out?

If he is, then he needs a new agent. I just hope they both know that Zack is paying the NFL 50 grand a day.

And can we please refer to Zack as Zack and not Zach? At least thats the name that will be on his bust if he makes the HOF.
