Our plan on the offensive line is a disaster waiting to happen......Starting 5.....It's ok.....but we all know someone is going to get hurt ...then the show begins....

The Good:
- Damone Clark. Showed good sideline-to-sideline speed to make a couple of good tackles.
- DeMarvion Overshown: Filled the hole on a play to stuff the RB. I think he'll be a hybrid like Kearse AND let Kearse stay healthier
- Sam Williams: He's looking better. DE/DL depth is incredible.
- DaRon Bland: Solid #3. Had a solid open-field tackle.
- Jalen Tolbert: 2targets 2rec 1TD. Needs to work but good.
- Jake Ferguson: Good with the ball in his hands
- Hunter Luepke: Moved much better than I expected.
- Deuce Vaughn: That burst, that vision, those cuts...

The Bad:
- OL depth; Zack Martin earned leverage today.
- Jalon Brooks 5 targets 1rec (not good)
- Brandon Aubrey; Cowboys need to find a K

How did I forget MAZI SMITH ?!

The DL depth is going to be such an asset this season.

......This team is in trouble offensively.....It's like an on coming train.....And you can't get off the track. Seriously don't trust McCarthy calling pays either. You can't tell me the guy isn't hiding a menu in that playbook.

*Jake Ferguson, looked good. He finds the open spot 5-8 yards up and gives his QB a chance. He also has a bit of speed
*Damone Clark is very active and makes plays
* Overshown is a player
*Mazi is good against the run. Finally someone who can clog the middle. He did get blown up on a few plays, but everyone does. Overall he was a good run stopper
*Our backup o-linemen are backups for a reason. I know it's one game, but I am praying for health
*Edge containment not good most of the night
*If Dak goes down, we have little chance to make the playoffs. Our backup QB's are not good

Maybe a more complete TE but you said way better. Schultz was a pretty effective receiver. Ferguson runs like he's in sand.

You think Schultz was fleet of foot? Lol He found soft spots and had a plethora of targets funneled to him. Ferguson is definitely a more complete TE, not maybe. Schultz's crap blocking and rounded off routes, won't be missed.

Bills took O'Cyrus Torrence the pick after Dallas. I watched him vs IND and read up and looks like he did well enough. Missed Opportunity probably.

Not true. Our backups started the game. They held Jax to nothing on the first two drives. If it weren't for Turpin's fumble, who knows if their starting offense does anything against our second string defense. Rush was moving the ball on the third drive. We were getting ready to tie the game if it weren't for a fumble by Dowdle.

We went deeper into our lineup than they did.

Their backup offensive linemen were much better than ours. Ball? LOL!!

Sorry....it's not good to me to miss an extra point. I'm willing to see him the rest of preseason, but if he is misses another...I'm looking at the waiver wire, FA, anywhere else.

I don't think our backup OL was good. But to say their backups were way better than ours is not correct. It was a close game, and we didn't play our first string like they did.

Lots of thoughts. I pretty much figured Jags to take a lead early since they were playing starters, and that is what they did. After their starters went out, the game was pretty much even. Difference was Turpin's fumble and Dowdle's fumble.

On offense, we are limited by the OL. we basically used two different units. In the first, it was Richards at LT, Farniok at LG, Hoffman at C, Ball at RG and Waltezko at RT. They didn't open any holes in the run game, and the pass protection was shaky. Rush looked mediocre, should have given up a pick six on a terribly thrown ball.

Seemed to be a lack of energy early, which is frustrating. Dallas 2nd string stuffs the Jags the first two series, but on the second punt Turpin fumbles it away and gives the Jags the short field. Juanyeh Thomas had an int and another nice play early. Mukuamu got beat badly for TD, and S over the top just watched. Rush did get the offense going, but Dowdle gives up a pretty soft fumble inside the 5. He looked shifty in the passing game, but the fumble really hurt. After Rush went out, the offense started to show some life under Grier. Tolbert had a nice catch taken away by a very ticky tack penalty call. Turpin dropped a catch, but then made an excellent catch on 4th down to extend the drive. Grier then hits Tolbert on a strike for the TD.

Second half, we get a FG, and then another TD, this one via Duece, who had a very nice series. He clearly looked better to me than Dowdle or Davis. Vaughn showed why he has been the talk of camp. Great runs and a few nice catches. OL had Bostick at LT, Bass at RG and Taylor-Prioleau at RT. Fehoko caught a couple smoke screens....but has no wiggle. Basically got the minimum he could have from each reception. He later caught another pass. Houston had back to back catches. We close out our scoring with a TD pass to Stephens, who had 3 or 4 nice catches.

Overall, turnovers were the story. We gave them a TD with Turpin's fumble and then lost points on Dowdle's drop. I don't think we had a whole lot of energy most of the first half, but they did start playing better offensively under Grier.

Moved Up - Grier, Vaughn, Stephens, Tolbert on offense. Fowler, Williams, J. Thomas on D.

Moved Down - OL...didn't see anyone have a great, or even good game on the OL. Dowdle. Rush. Coyle.

Tolbert had a real good game. They are loaded at receiver. Houston had a good game too.

The running backs were good. Rico and Vaughn are making the team.

Aubrey needs to make all of his kicks next week. He was good except for the 1 miss today.

Mazi was solid vs the run. Had one bad play on the QB sneak. Outside of that...not sure where he was bad.

I believe lots of fans didn't even watch the second half. Mazi is holding the line except that QB sneak. I don't know why it is unimpressive. He did enough for his main duty.
Actually the O-line got better in protection and opening the hole. The issue is QB.
