I'm in my 50s, so maybe that's some kind of sign of respect for a younger generation, kind of like what Diggs said to Dak that got all blown up. I mean, if Diggs can say those kinds of things in the spirit of brotherhood, I would think calling someone a turd would barely register.

Turp is obviously a decent returner. Overrated, but still pretty good. I admittedly overrated him last year, but we were hard up for a returner.

Dowdle's fumble doesn't worry me all that much. It worries me, but not much. It's not outrageous to be concerned that Turpin could be prone to fumbles.

It's a popularity contest. ProBowl isn't really indicative of all that much, especially when it comes to Cowboys players. Cowboys have the most fans, so of course, their players are going to get the most votes.

He's a decent returner. Maybe Turp will be better in McCarthy's offense. The fact he couldn't get on the field much last year in spite of us needing a WR to step up, should tell us something. I'm not saying he sucks as a returner. But it has yet to be seen what he can do against a top-level NFL defense. I'm not writing him off. I still want to see more of what he can do.

My deal is, if all he is going to do is return, and is prone to fumble, there may be a better player to fill his roster spot. If he can contribute to the offense, I'm all good with it. Time will tell. There are still 3 preseason games left.

He was 10th among kick returners with at least 15 kick returns and 6th among punt returners with at least 15 punt returns. And that is with going straight from a season in the USFL right into an NFL season without any rest or benefit of spending time with the team in the offseason. He might actually provide some depth at the WR position this year in addition to his return abilities.

Also, if you think 4.31 speed isn't fast then you are mistaken. NFL scouts drool over that kind of speed.
 
Lol, turd is the best word I could think of at the time, and honestly it fits. Not a turpin fan never was, I thought they and still think they are wasting a roster spot. Hell he can go out and return kickoffs and punts catch a td or 2, score on a reverse, this season in the regular season even the playoffs, yes I will be happy for the score or scores, but I will still be dreading when he get tackled that the ball will come out.
He's a gimmick

Dowdle Deuce Vaughn if Turpin gets stashed or cut those 2 could fill the “ void “ . Dallas will survive .
