He’s not an nfl WR yet. But he was the mvp in USFL as a reciever so he has the potential
He does need to fix the fumbles but he has serious return skills
USFL otherwise known as a group of Canadian league rejects. It’s like touting someone with vision winning a sharpshooting competition vs the blind!

We need to stop kidding ourselves Turpin is just a little turd that showed in a weak big 12 conference and a weak USFL, he’s fast but not fast enough and the more he gets hit the more he will fumble.
He's a kick returner.

90% of his job in today's league is to call for a fair catch.

And one player that is deemed OK to insult. Schultz was that guy last year, wonder who the homers will decide everyone can pick on this year?
Wait, we're only allowed one? Where was the memo?

True. But I think his overall point is the fact he'll inevitably be prone to fumble because of physics and his style of play.

It's a legitimate concern, although absolutely not necessary to call him names.

Maybe so but I think when you win an mvp as a WR you have something to develop. He was good in college also

He had an OK freshman year. His #s dropped precipitously after that once there was adequate film and teams concluded he was a one trick and took away his trick! Reality is, he was a guy with 4.3 speed, who didn’t even get a camp tryout in the NFL and spent 4 seasons floundering in summer leagues before out athleting a bunch on Canadian league rejects!

Agree.

I don't think much of Turpin due to fumbles, and he seems to play dumb too much. I simply don't trust him at all.

Yeah....I was never sold....more hype than productive. Sadly...I can see Jerry selling these dreadlocks for 4 more seasons. Funny how all these armchair GMs fall for the goldylocks.

Turpin and Johnson are both 4.3 receivers as well.
