Twitter: Inside Cowboys’ crash course with ex-Navy SEALs, whom Dak recruited to help end Super Bowl drought

Good read.

Psychology is never a bad thing. Jimmy Johnson was a master of it. This is just another form of it.

The missing variable is how well the entire team absorbs these lessons into its groupthink mentality. A championship attitude is a byproduct of everyone being onboard. Hope this particular effort pays off in that regard.

Whats so funny to me about this thread is the usual suspects of course. And knowing full well that if Parsons had done the exact same thing he would be getting applauded as inspirational and "See Dak thats how you lead" but because its Dak some of you cant see thru your own blind hatred. Its hilarious.

Dude, I’d cut my ears off, or willingly become a deaf-mute if I had to be close to people as negative as y’all are. The negativity in this kind of crap response is what has turned the Zone into a cesspool of internet feces. To take something of pure positivity and muddy it with the garbage y’all come up with is disgraceful!!!
Yep, and if Dak wasn’t doing stuff like this, they’d say how Dak is just happy to get a big check… that winning isn’t important.

We all know that’s what would happen.

A session like this no matter the outcome, those words and exercises will and are already in the back of their minds whether they really know it or not.

And you perpetuate it by calling them out...good job! Not....

It's as hilarious as those calling out anyone critical of Dak and his PR stunts.

If your the kind of QB that can win SB’s, you won’t need help from Navy Seals.

Navy Seal: "September 10, 2023."
Dak Critic: "Dak blah blah blah!"
Navy Seal: "What did I just say?"

Navy Seal: "Good job"
Dak Supporter: "Dak blah blah blah!"
Navy Seal: "That goes for you too, mister."
Dak Supporter: "September 10, 2023."
Navy Seal: "Good. You two have a great season. Dismissed."

lmao...leave the Navy Seals alone!

Man it is amazing just how cynical, jaded, and pissy some of our fanbase has gotten lol

Whining about players trying to improve and grow as professionals on their own time? Lol

I think what Dak did was brilliant. It is clear the guys that went to this seminar bought in, and that they are a closer knit group for sharing that experience together.

If you have ever been a part of any team, then you know how critical the bond between teammates is.

Dak is developing brotherhood, and while some people on this board will scoff and mock and minimize it’s impact in regards to on the field results, the reality is quite simple:

Culture matters and Dak is trying to build a good one in Dallas.

There are plenty of things for critics to crow about in Big D, but this isn’t one of em lol…

Lol yeah I started my pissy response but I read the article. I mean he’s trying to be better. As cynical as I’ve become, I can’t hate on that.

LOL. How many hours of practice do you think he puts in not on camera?

Its amazing that a freaking veteran has this attitude towards Dak working with veterans. Considering what veterans go thru after retirement.
If you feel he's a veteran. I think he's full of BS and has never served more than a fountain drink. Our veterans are too intelligent than to speak that way. My guess is that he's a 17 year old acne faced ginger living in South Philadelphia.

It's not just one thing that wins you that Lombardi trophy. It's a thousand little things that have to come together in perfection to make it work. So if this is one of them, cool.
We have people here that just thinks and knows 1 position, and that's the Qb spot. They really love exposing themselves

I think it's both to be honest. It's part PR and they think it would actually help. The problem with this approach is people that want to be Navy Seals are also weeded out. Not everybody can become a Navy Seal. Dak has peaked and no amount of gimmicks like this can improve his processing speed and ability to read defenses at year 8, otherwise he would have already shown these talents for stretches. These types of qualities are genetically there from the beginning.
The first two words of your post cracked me up.

Obviously you never served!!
No, but what does that have to do with my comment?

If you recall, Garrett and Romo used to go over to Coronado during camp to get advice from those SEALS. I just hoped this different group would produce better results for Dak and Company.
