That was glorious to watch and a perfect start to the season. However if you want to view it through a more technical lens:
- Run defence looked shaky against that first drive. We got a 'lucky' penalty and then NY took a time out. We adjusted and forced the FG attempt. Without the penalty, NY looked certain for a (relatively) easy TD.
- The blocked FG was huge and clearly swung momentum
- The defence in the second series looked much better and the turnover TD seemed to settle the nerves.
- Offence looked quite lacklustre. Hard to judge as they had limited opportunities but looked sloppy in the first quarter
- Our kicking is still an issue
- If we can get 'ahead' in games and force the oppo into passing situations.. Game Over. Our pass rush is legit
- Our secondary looked solid and they are helping with the pass rush by giving great coverage
- Gilmore looked a step slow on crossing routes but was locked in on vertical routes and reading QB
- LVE didn't have a lot to do but looked very aggressive at the line
- Our defence just put the entire league on notice.
- Dak wasn't asked to do a lot and that is a great thing for this team
- I think we still rely on our TEs too much and that could be a concern
- Pollard looked good and seems to have a few other runners that can rotate. I think we will have a pretty strong running game this season.
- CeeDee is looking at another big season. Has big play potential on every level.

I thought Mazi looked overwhelmed early and gassed but he is one for the future. Team looks hungry and focussed. If the Defence brings that energy every game.. going to be hard to stop. Go Cowboys!
How is the kicking an issue? He made 6 out of 7 and had 8 touchbacks in a downpour. The high dollar guy on the outherside made none.

Great Start to the Season!!!

Let's see how the Jets play Monday night, to get at look at what will be coming to Dallas next week.

Beating Aaron Rodgers is satisfying, no matter uniform he's wearing!!!

It is exceedingly difficult to go on the road and pitch a shut out against any team in the NFL… especially one that has Saquon Barkley and a running QB.

The defense is just beastly. Considerably better than last year’s group, which was really good.

This defense is very special. No doubt.
It helped a lot that they got away from running the ball on every play. That first series they just matched right down the field.

He should hit at least 85%.
I'm not going to be too upset about a rookie who has only been kicking footballs since 2018 missing his first kick. Now if we had lost because of it, my outlook probably would be different.

In the UK at the moment and just woke up and saw the highlights.

After some thought, I decided to go ahead and give the Dallas D/ST a passing grade for their week 1 performance for me in FF.

Enjoy the flavor of NYG fans and media tears, and the fear and hate of the rest of the NFL lol

Ferguson two drops that’s concerning .
Pollard with a fumble that’s a bad look.
Dak looked shakey to start.
Extra points are supposed to go through the uprights not around them.
The drops sucked, especially since it really didn't look like the ball being wet was the biggest reason. Pollard's fumble was very excusable, IMO, considering the shot was right on the ball. It was a good defensive play.

Listening to postgame on 105.3. Dude calls in, waits to get on the show, and why did he call? He wanted to complain about getting to the 3 yard line and having to kick a field goal - on the first possession the first stringers played this season. He went on a mini rant about it, after a 40-0 win.

If you watch 40-0 and that's what you want to talk about, find another hobby. Following this team will only frustrate you.
That caller is on member on this board, I sure of it. I don't know which one it is, but he has to be on here!

There is a distinct and noticeable sense of … quiet in the fanzone.

It speaks volumes that the folks who were praying for failure can’t even give a passing, minimal, thumbs up.
