Whoever decided that brandin cooks was a better fit than DeAndre Hopkins needs to be fired. Hopkins was the perfect fit for this slant oriented offense and we went with a guy who’s nothing but a deep threat. Because our deep threat guy doesn’t run slants, we’re running them with a guy (Gallup) who runs like he’s stuck in mud and has 1980 shoulder pads on. We miss you Amari

Also, a quick shoutout to the non productive 2023 draft class.

When you have a QB who can't complete the forward pass, it doesn't matter if you have a WR who runs slants, wears pants, or loves to rant. Watch Dak from last night: he cannot hit a moving target, and anything he attempted downfield had more airtime than Taylor Kelce does

His long passes looked like punts. He doesn't have a strong arm or touch so he lofts it up and hopes his WRs can come down with it.

1st rounder who got garbage reps at the end of the game I watched it lol

and yet we were forced to watch the 9ers QB who has no arm, but dead on accuracy and can read the field like nobody else....Cowboys football baby
The WCO is perfect for a qb that's smart and accurate. Need the anticipation, timing and accuracy to be able to hit wrs in stride out of their breaks. Dak has none of that, Purdy has all of it.

Exactly. For a team who historically cant stop the run needs to get something out of their 1st rounder. The roster improvements made since the 9ers loss last year was Cooks and the 2023 draft. I know draft picks take time to develop but you would like to think you see some productivity somewhere.

I keep saying an IMPRESSION, i'm not asking mazi to be Donald from the Rams, but shows us something sheesh doesn't take 3 years for him to do that

QB bud......you could have all pros at all postions, dont mater if your qb SUCKS
I get what you're saying about the qb... but did you see that slant route by gallup? He did absolutely nothing to move the sitting cb and then let him get across his face.

Cooks has been disappointing and Gallup is what he is.

But the problem is, and has been, the scheme. This conservative nonsense that they keep trying is a death sentence. It gets you nowhere, even when it's effective.

Lol, slant route has not liked us since Troy and Mike, even though Romo and TO was not bad at it when he (TO) didn’t drop it.

Good assessment. Honestly, I haven't seen any work in the middle. I asked about that during training camp.

Dak is throwing so close to the sidelines that the defender only has to push the receiver out for it to be incomplete. I guess it is better than an interception. 3 and outs is the name of the game, right now.
