...looking at our RB situation right now. We basically, have two RB's who do Ok and are limping around. (TP/Dowdle)

Vaughn is practically non-existent. Leupke is gadget player.

Jones had Zeke power, and more speed. He could have brought the 1-2 punch offense needed.

Is it mandatory, you cut a player after PED/s accusations?

You can’t have a passing game, without a running game. We’re lacking both right now. I’m not sure this is the right person you’re talking about. But it’s the right style.

I think the problem was he isn’t good and our current roster is better.

Everyone is struggling on offense right now due to a bad pass game.

You guys want less explosive plays and the key to us winning is more explosive plays.

I would get Vaughn more involved if anything.

I know his stock is low right now because he just isn’t getting quality touches but he’s legit and could help make a difference if given real opportunities.

I think he has a high ankle sprain

No, not signing someone better than Ronald Jones is the mistake. Even a JAG such as Perine would've been nice.

If I were him I wouldn't come back i'm sorry
Get paid to play football or sit on the couch?

Football is a business. These guys don’t judge and cry like babies. It’s a job and an enormous paycheck. They don’t care if it’s Cowboy silver and blue, Eagles green, Commander red etc.

When Ronald’s wife ask him why he didn’t want to sign back with Dallas I’m sure his response ”Honey, a few guys on the Cowboys message board think they stink. They should blow it up and I just want no part of that!”

They can bring him back if they need to.

Jones was a JAG.

IMO the only way he was making the roster was if Rico declined or ended up on IR for the 4th time and Luepke didn't show any potential.

The mistake was thinking Pollard, Rico Glass Dowdle, a hobbit and a hybrid fb were good enough for the backfield. But I'd assume cap budgets came into play as well.

Jones has been blowing up the league so far this year - I'm sure Dallas is regretting it. Oh wait....

They weren't going to keep 5 RBs.

Luepke is not a gadget RB, Deuce Vaughn is. I think they need to get Luepke more involved. I just do not think Deuce is an NFL RB. Defenses are too fast for him. He has had chances to run the football.

Right now Dowdle looks like he runs the hardest and with the most quickness. Pollard looks like he lost a step. Luepke is learning to play FB. Luepke is more of an unknown. He should have gotten the ball at the end of the 49ers game to see what he can do.

The Cowboys kept 4 RB on the 53 man roster and it hurt them when they cut a backup C and 2 LBs.

Bring him back and see what he can do. If they have a roster spot. Unfortunately with Turpin's injury on yet another dirty tackle by SF. Deuce will be the return guy.
I am ok with that, I would like to see what he can do. However, I have not been impressed with him at RB so far.

But with Pollard, Dowdle, Leupke, Deuce, do they really need another RB. Probably not, but I still would not mind seeing him at least on the PS.
Is he even recovered from his injury though?

Also, they still have Davis on the practice squad. As of right now, I don't think they need another back. What they need is their qb and oline to play better.

Lmbao. Literary gold.

"Honey they can keep that million dollars for 12 weeks of work. I don't feel like I'm growing there as a person"

And Rico does not have power and speed that Rod Jones does ?
I will not dare compare Rico's power to Zeke.

Has Rod Jones even been picked up any other NFL team since his Cowboys' release ?
This sounds like another case where some will be hyping up some JAG, to be more than what he is .

Just another Jag RB. The grass is always greener around here.

Pollard needs a bigger back to play off of like a Fournette

But I think Fournette has whined about not being a #1 RB. So I don't think he'd come here.
