And by intelligent , you mean shaking those Pom poms defending your pet cat. Gotcha.
He’s playing at an MVP level and is coming off a game where he passed for over 400 yards and accounted for 5 TDs and you’re bashing him. You call that an intelligent football fan?

He’s putting up a lot of stats against bad teams, and he’s got 2 wild card wins in 7 seasons. Go shake your Pom poms somewhere else.

This isn't an argument. This is a lazy, blanket phrase some dumb fan made up and is being regurgitated. You have no point to dispute the recent success other than to try to bring up times when the team failed.

He put up 374 yards and 3 TDs with a passer rating of 115.2 against the best team in the league two weeks ago. If you’re incapable of giving him an ounce of credit when he plays well and you can’t enjoy last Sundays win because of your distain for him, go find a team with a QB you like better.

Ill do you one better

idc about the win loss record aslong as its good enough to get in the playoffs

idc if we back in booty first at 7-10...and win each playoff game 9-5, 10-6, 3-2 and win the superbowl 9-8 with prescott throwing 5 picks and getting less than 40 yards of total offense

get me a SB

heck the way the caps won the stanley cup was bootyhole brown ugly at times but we won it

Good thing you don’t root for browns or lions.
It’s hard to win in this league especially since salary cap era began
Everyone wants a Lombardi some realize how hard it is and accept it

Cowboy fans were spoiled pre salary cap
And that is how far down the Cowboys have gone. When the franchise starts comparing themselves to the Browns and Lions.

Dallas used to be compared to the Steelers and 49ers. But no more because it is all about stats, selling jerseys and
the Cowboys buying the FOOLS GOLD Jerry sells every season to win The Forbes Bowl

I am glad the Cowboys won-- more on the later.

As far as Lamb, Dak, Parsons, etc.... personal stats ~ DO NOT CARE !

Personal players stats are for their next contract, being patted on the back and praised with the media.
Until this franchise can get to a damn NFC Conference game THIS CENTURY, will continue to say it.
Romo, Dez, Ware, Witten, Owens, etc.... ALL had stats but the stats NONE of them had was ZERO NFC Conference game played. Hell, Ware had to leave Dallas to get his chance and Parsons will eventually leave Dallas for the same reasons.

Great the team WON ! But how many years have this same scenario been sold ( FOOLS GOLD/Pyrite) to Cowboys fans?
Answer: 27 years

Get to a NFC Conference game and break this trend. Until then, do not care.
Now, go beat Carolina
So noted on bias...just for facts, Parcells knew every single stat about his own team and a good deal about his opponents. No debate about it. Keeping up wore the man out!! But he knew facts and trends that dealt with HIS players. You know more than Parcells?

The don't read. As Bill Belicheck has stated over his career: "Stats are for losers. You are graded by Superbowl wins"
Bring up your reference and validate the statement made...today, there are computers that can keep up on field actions at a complete level of imputs. Immediately after a game tallies completed by program and then translated to a quick summary sheet that now only takes about 15 minutes to consume completely.

Your Billie Boy now keeping up and also passing on a four year window for change....*(his way)?

Those that say they don't care about stats are the 1st ones to point out the bad stats of the team or the player.

Stats are fun, especially if the team is winning. And to see how your favorite players move up in the ranks. Not just for the year but for the all time leaders as well.
Now FA hurts that now. Since a player is not guaranteed to stay with a team their entire career anymore.

Another thing about stats is FF, as it sparks interest even for the casual fans that never really paid as much attention before to any sport. Even though IMO it ruins some fanship in the way they root for certain teams.
Say we win the division. But the Eagles need to beat oh, the Falcons to make the playoffs. Well I am rooting for the Falcons, but some other Dallas fan is rooting for the Eagles...for FF points .... that is messed upped.

Yes, win the game, wins and losses are stats also. But have fun with the good stats for the team you profess to be a fan of.
I loved watching the stats as Emmitt moved up in the rankings.
Yes but we were competing for championships. Stats are nothing if you know they are meaningless.

Stats are part of sports man. They are talking points in sports arguments. They add to the fun of the game if you approach them the right way. I will always maintain that they can never tell the WHOLE story.. but they sure as hell tell part of it. We've all watched games and come away thinking "so and so had a good/bad game" then looked at the numbers and had to reevaluate what we thought we saw. Unless you're in the stadium you absolutely cannot see the whole field and even then it takes a different eye to watch 22 guys all at once and really know what you're looking at. Most people simply cannot though precious few of them will admit it. And you pretty much have to pause and rewind to make heads or tails out of what's happening in the trenches. Even coaches and scouts struggle to see that clearly when watching live. It is what it is.. It's okay to enjoy the ride ... even if you don't get to the promised land.
