So, a team what went 13-1 with their starting QB and went to the SB who followed up that season with a current record of 9-1 and just beat the SB champs in one of the hardest stadiums to win in actually aren't good. What does that make Dallas? Abysmal?
They stink

Frauds? The Chiefs got all the calls in the 4th quarter. One poor pass interference on 3rd down stop. The a horrific call on a 3rd down stop and then a BS helmet to helmet personal foul that wasn't a penalty on the final drive.
How can a team that went to the SB then follow it up with a 9-1 record with their starting QB winning 25 of his last 27 regular season games be called frauds?
They do get lucky more then any team I've seen in recent history but... frauds?
KC did beat them in the 1st half, and in the 2nd half the Chiefs literally beat themselves with several dropped passes of which one was a perfectly thrown deep pass from Mahomes to the endzone, the receiver was in good position to catch the ball, and the ball slipped right through his hands. He actually had both hands on the ball but it slipped right through. That drop was a would've been game winner for the Chiefs. The beagles got lucky in that game. They didn't beat KC, KC did.

Division lost? LOL. There are 7 games left . EaGirls lost to the Jets. They could lose to any team on their schedule. No different than us.
Even f we went 6-1, they could still go 4-3 and beat us. They have the Giants twice and Arizona, too.

Tonight sealed it pretty much.

If he makes that catch the Chiefs are up 3 with 1:45 left and the Eagles have all 3 TO's left. Hurts seems to thrive in that type of situation. It would have been huge but Philly would have gotten the ball back with time. Philly has gotten soooooo many breaks this year but when your team is 8-0 down double digits, have beaten 13 straight winning teams and have a QB who is 25-2 over his last 27 regular season games what do they have to do to be a good team in your book?

It doesn’t matter. I don’t like bye weeks anyway going into playoffs…you lose momentum.

Get in, smash one low life 7 seed wild card team and then you have the chance to rectify what you didn’t in the regular season…win against Filthy and the Gay69ers.
That kind of talk might have been ok in the 1950's.. we have moved on since then.. behave yourself.

Now what?

Simple.

Get the top wildcard spot and go beat the filling out of whichever 8-9 cream puff comes out of the NFC South.
I've seen that, and what happens next. It hasn't been pretty.

I'll believe a wild card Cowboys team can win 3 road playoff games and get to a Super Bowl when I see it.

I saw a wild card Cowboys team win 2 road playoff games and reach a Super Bowl, but 1975 was a long time ago and you have to win 3 now.

Deep down, we know how this ends.

SF seems to have our number. Reminds me of the Cowboys/Packers games in the 90s.
yeah, 3 games in a row Dak just looks skittish and unsure playing them….3 bad games. We can’t beat them unless he gets them out his head. The D played fine the first 2 ga,es ms beginning of third…..Dak, who is amazing at times, cost us with bad play x3

We hope Dallas can finally win 2 consecutive playoff games. Which is basically the same thing if they were the #1 seed

:hammer: :hammer:

Yet, we get a bunch of Eagles worshippers spewing their pro-Eagles rhetoric.

Some Cowboys fans seriously need to research the history of their team.

The Cowboys have been in far worse circumstances and still won their division. The first wildcard team to go to the Super Bowl was the Dallas Cowboys.

It's not over until it's over.

And we can go 7-0 and they can go 0-7 also. Anyone can play that what if game now and it wont mean crap. Not with 7 games left.

Since you are bring up tendencies based on past history, there hasn't been a repeat NFC east winner since 2003.

Cool.

Now let's get back to the Cowboys tendencies since the 1990s. Ignoring them doesn't make them go away, and I'm too old to blow BS up my arsehole.

Those tendencies change when the Cowboys change them. As I said, I'll believe it's different when they show me it's different. It's pretty simple.

Some folks need to wave pompoms in November - I get it. That just doesn't do anything for me, positively or negatively. Show me results.

Who said ignore them? In fact, I'm saying the opposite. If you are going to base your predictions on past tendencies, you should consider all the historical tendencies that are relevant to the Cowboys.
Including the one about the repeat winner of NFCE.
