I wish I was posting this weeks later but here we are. A few early 1st round favorites (with a lot of work left to do on looking at players).

- Laiatu Latu / Jared Verse - DE
- Jer'Zhan Newton - DT
- OT (anyone that falls - arguably strongest position in the class)
- Tez Walker / Xavier Leggette - WR
- Edgerin Cooper - LB
- Cooper DeJean - CB

Graham Barton and Xavier Legette are hard to pass on.

I have this fear that Dallas will view the OT class as deep enough to pass on until later and then miss out on a top player.

Im hoping for best available OT. It will take some time to figure out who that is in this class. Strong class where alot of guys will rise up and get pushed down. You will probably have 3 future LT's available at 24

Barton should be a solid olineman.

Hard to say this early but IMO BPA at 24 will be an OT or WR as they appear to be the strongest position groups.

I’d prefer OT as we but would be fine with a WR if a stud drops.

Now that we know they're picking 24 and not later, it's a better opportunity to trade down.

That said, if they sit at 24, anything other than OT is pretty dumb.

You are exactly right. There for sure will be a stud receiver available at 24.

They could get a stud receiver on a rookie deal that would be an upgrade over Gallup.

There isn't value in the back half of the first compared to the second round, especially as it compares to OT.

There's no reason to take, say, Legette in the first when you can just take Corley in the second.

Leggette is a 6-3 227 pound monster that can high point the ball over any defensive back. He is nothing like Corley.

Well that's not at all the point lol.

The point is you can get a WR late in the second who is a comparable prospect - pick whichever two guys you want. You can't do that at OT.
