They believe in their culture and organization enough to replace him obviously….correct me if im wrong weren’t they in super bowls and championship games before wilks?

not recently. Not til Wilks came did they get back to a SB within the last bunch of years. We can say what we will about Wilks, but they responded to him. Shanahan has never won a SB. Hes been 3 times and lost each won. Correct me if I am wrong. How is it he gets to keep working in San Fran and the other guy gets canned? Maybe my logic is wrong.

If Shanahan was desperate to put the blame on someone else, he should have blamed Mahomes for being the great QB that he is.

The dude got fired and people are attempting to make it into something else. Paramount just fired 800 staffers, people get the axe every day. The strong and talented find another job, the weak just look for excuses of how it was someone else’s fault. My God, everyone has become such a bunch of panty *****. No wonder why our military is way below recruitment levels, although I cannot blame anyone for not signing up for nonsense.

What r u talking about lol? 2019 they made the Super Bowl, championship game against the rams the following year, last year championship against the eagles Purdy gets hurt….all of this is before wilks. An established winning culture.

Wilks joined that. He didn’t build that lol. And beyond this there’s already talk about possibly replacing him with Vrabel so as I said their confident in their structure and organization

My son is in the military and is nails. Most of the military is still fine.So try not to go that far. Im simply saying, its odd timing. Yes, the strong must and usually prevail. Your right. I agree about the shape of the nation. Its terrible. Its all everyone's butt hurt feelings all the time. Media sells it as fact. Its in our sports now too. Its like an infection. So we agree mostly. I just question everything. Thats all.

Oh, and for those clamoring for him, his defenses had that “CBs 10 yards off the line” Strat that we all complained about here.

So as fans (and some here, too) recoil at one man's firing, you have to remember that other teams, unlike the Cowboys, get rid of those who don't bring their A game to the pig iron.

Exactly. Their season just ended now after the Super Bowl so we react as if this is a complete reaction to that but they have bumped heads for awhile. Kyle called him out week 6 after a Minnesota loss and many of their fans weren’t happy with wilks either.

Not saying that maybe they shouldn’t have given him another year but if the relationship is toxic, why force it ? The 49ers are a pretty well run team. They’ll be fine
