Whether you agree or disagree with his sentiments, I think it's refreshing the ex-Cowboys are finally opining on the state of the Cowboys. In my opinion they've been too quiet over the years. It's going to take a village to fix this thing. Time for Roger to apply some pressure.

Nice video. I do not have much more to add to what Danny White said, except 'everybody else' should include more than the players around Dak Prescott.

Danny White sounds like a QB that never won anything and blames everyone else for it.

Just bitter that he’s forgotten behind winners like Aikman and Staubach and lumped in with losers like Romo and Dak instead.

You got that perception from him in that clip? I took it as a quarterback giving his opinion from his point-of-view what Prescott did as a quarterback. White does have a point that other players underperformed at times. That is true regardless of how much White deflected from Prescott.

Additionally, White did imply assigning blame for coaching indirectly. And he totally omitted any blame for the front office doing enough for fielding a roster and coaches capable of winning Super Bowls--with or without Prescott. In short, he took Prescott's side and threw everyone else under the bus, which was not a fair or accurate assessment of why the team fell short of competing for a Super Bowl this past season.

Its difficult being the next guy that is following an absolute Legend.

It comes off as a loser QB trying to defend another loser QB.

If White is saying this about Daks teammates then he probably thinks the same about his own. That he was good enough but his teammates sucked and held him back from being with Aikman and Staubach.

I’m sure that Whites ringless fingers have nothing to do with him having more INTs than TDs in the playoffs though.

Troy Aikman had a passer rating of 88.3 with 3,849 yards, 23 touchdowns and 17 interceptions in 16 games in the playoffs in his career.

Danny White had a passer rating of 71.6 with 2,284 yards, 15 touchdowns and 16 interceptions in 18 games in the playoffs in his career.

Tony Romo had a passer rating of 93.0 with 1,316 yards, 8 touchdowns and 2 interceptions in 6 games in the playoffs in his career.

Dak Prescott has a passer rating of 91.8 with 1,962 yards, 14 touchdowns and 7 interceptions in 7 games in the playoffs in his career.

Tony and Dak's playoff starts are comparable if not better than Roger and Troy's and they both had better teams.

No. I agree with you. Danny was a very solid QB.

But most Cowboy fans can only see SB rings.

I'd listen to the man. Besides his very good NFL career, including the 3 straight NFC championship games, he coached in the Arena football team and was very successful:
White served as the head coach of the Arizona Rattlers from 1992 to 2004, winning the Arena Bowl championship in 1994 and 1997. He was named the head coach of the Arena Football League expansion Utah Blaze, which began play in 2006. He led his teams to the playoffs in 10 of 11 seasons, including two championships (1994 and 1997), finishing with a 162–95 record as a head coach.

Of course, Arean football isn't the NFL, but the competition is relatively equal just as in the NFL. Just shows he knows football...
