if we were to release Dak, after June 1st, do you think any team would sign him to a QB reset deal? in other words would a team pay him 60 plus a year?

It’s very easy to get out of Daks contract.

They save 34 million this season by just making a phone call.
If he drafted a Qb above the 4th round every now and then, he might actually have an option.....he has no option at this point unless we are to believe Rush or Trey can be starters.....which they aren't

They wouldn’t need to. We would still be paying him. In situations like this, the player usually takes a lower salary for the years he’s already guaranteed money.

Possibly an awful team with no chance of any success.

Leading the league in qb stats isn’t meaningless. Averaging 12 wins a year isn’t meaningless.
It’s called window dressing and it is meaningless when that’s all you have to show for season after season. Glad you take solace in the wins and stats that came from the weak teams, and appreciated the final 6 minutes of the season with all those stats. Not to worry you will be able to appreciate Dak’s choking for a few more years as Jerry doesn’t have the smarts to what’s right. Hopefully he lets him play the final year out and after watching another debacle he says good riddance to a QB that needs a all pro at every offensive position and a Jim Brown RB along with a defense that’s better than the 85 bears.

For a couple years, and then super bowl contention.

Most teams who are super bowl contenders are there because they sucked for a while. KC is the obvious exception.

Jerry is going to have to come up with something new. His Schtick is getting old and people are no longer on board. Prescott mentally is done. I'm not sure he even wants to stay in Dallas. And for sure he doesn't want the abuse that will come this year. They need to come to an agreement and find a way to ship him outta there. The Raiders seem like a good fit for him.
No one wants him for big bucks.
Unfortunately for us..........

in reality dak needs to ask for a trade and move on to another team but he wont he is what is a average qb that does well in the preseason and is bad in post season play he will never win a superbowl unless its as a back up on another team the fans have pretty much already turned on him and jerry if they dont do well this season its going to get really ugly really quick

No he hasn't.

That was the excuse used to miss the Pro Bowl (avoid the media) though.

What a leader.
Oh, but could you imagine if the Cowboys would have won the game against the Packers? Dak would be shouting from the rooftops how this is just the beginning, can't wait for the next game, best shape of his life, blah blah blah.

Insead he is nowhere to be found. When the dust settles, he will be out again, mouth and all.

At least the other "stars" Micah and CeeDee haven't been hiding away like Dak has.

That "leadership" ability is as fake as he is.

The next time we hear from Dak will be regarding his money. That'll get him out from under his rock.
