LOL.. you folks will say anything. Dak threw it 43 times in 2021. The third down conversoin rate was 6-13 versus 5-14. We were 1-2 on 4th down conversions. JG only threw for 172 yards and gifted an INT on a horrible throw. And it was 16-7 halfway into the third and Dak throws a pick in his own territory. Pretending like the defense is to blame is hilarious.
I’m not pinning that loss entirely on the defense. Dak and our offense wasn’t good but you’re not going to win a playoff game giving up over 150 yards on the ground and allowing the opponent to control the ball. The recipe for beating the Cowboys is to run the ball down their throat. Jimmy G only had to throw for 172 yards because they pounded us on the ground all day. All Jimmy G had to do was manage the game.

My faith in Dak is near 100% at this point.

I have faith that he will win more regular season games than he loses.

And I have faith that he will get the yips and ***** any play in or playoff games he's in.

I don't think GM Jeruh understands the key factors to winning a football game.

He is more concerned with attendance and concession sales.

If you read my recent posts you will note that I'm sure he will get an extension. What that has to do with my post only you can fathom.
You’re moving the goal posts. I don’t engage with those types.

That blind squirrel in my back yard might find that nut....too
Good for him. I like the odds with Dak and McCarthy and whatever new guys they get and some improvement from their 2nd and 3rd year guys. It will be fun to watch regardless win or lose.

Wow. You may be the greatest Dakvidian of them all.
Thanks.

It's pretty easy to be a supporter of your favorite teams All Pro QB (2nd team).

Now, if we could only get a FO that cared about winning as much as they care about people talking about the franchise and a fanbase that wasn't full of idiots and trolls.

Typically the third time is a charm.
Three straight "12 win" seasons.
Three straight playoff hopes to ascend to.
But no, instead the third time is not a charm.
The third time is a home field meltdown.
And now, the money has handcuffed the team.
Now they have to ride it out. Only hope left is
for a desperate team with an injured QB to come
calling at some point before the trade deadline.
It's more like "Three strikes and you're out".
Money has not handcuffed the team. It amazes me how uneducated people are.

Actually you won’t by scoring more points than the other team. Stats say you aren’t going to win many games scoring 23 or 19 points either like the 49ers. Stats show it’s been done many times that teams win when they give up 150 yards on the ground.

All Dak had to do was probably not turn the ball over and throw around 50 percentile competing.

The stats show the Cowboys don’t win many games when they can’t stop the run, especially when they give up 150+. We’re not giving our pass rush much of an opportunity to get sacks and turnovers which is what we need to win especially in postseason. Dak has had his issues in postseason but our defense is the main problem. Our best defensive performances during the regular season don’t show up in the playoffs. We save our worst defensive performances for the playoffs. Our best defensive player who will be looking for a record defensive contract has only one sack and 4 QB hits in four playoff games. He’s been a no show in the playoffs along with everyone else on the defensive side.

1) What is your current faith % in Dak?
2) When did Dak make you a skeptic?
3) When did he lose you?'

For me:
  1. About 5% Faith. Still think he could do something, hope he could. But not going to put ANY money on it.
  2. When did I become skeptical of Dak? After that first San Fran playoff game loss when he ran the ball instead of throwing it, and single-handedly lost the end of the game. What??? That was my first indication something isn't right in his head when it's a clutch game. Or just gets too tight. The Tampa Playoffs domination the next year, and his MVP-esque season last year renewed my hope.
  3. When did he basically lose me? When the lights shined again last year in Playoffs. I know the defense flunked, and just about everyone on the team too, but damn.. that guy is paid the big money to be the leader and get them straight. And I still think he has some type of mental block in the big games.
For some of you the answer may be he hasn't lost you, and that's fine. But seems like most people on this board have gone from 'cautiously optimistic' to 'when pigs fly.' LOL

And... I hope he proves me wrong, wins it all this year or even with a new team if that happens. Always wish the best for these guys but just being real.

[ModEdit]: Placed multiple questions in the post and removed the clutter from the thread title.
50%. Dak is a good bus driver in the regular season. Then he becomes a frightened girl in the playoffs.

Me skepticism began when Dak ended our postseason early BEFORE his two humiliations against the 49ers and his utter negligence against the 6th seeded Packers.

Dak lost me forever with the first humiliation against the 9ers in 2022.

If there are any Cowboys fans who believe Dak can improve his postseason game, you are loved by Jerald.

Jerry Jones: "We'll go as far as Dak takes us." Based on past performance, this statement alone tells me about how much faith I should have in Dak.
