Well, after JJ sobers up after his boat ride he will come home and give Dak what he wants, and us fans get to watch some amazing football from Dak, and by amazing, I don't mean amazing!

I think it's a win-win season. Either Dak and MM have a very successful year with the team making it deep into the playoffs (NFCCG at least) thus proving their worth or they don't and we have across the board changes to look forward to.

I don’t think it’s that far of a stretch that we won’t make the playoffs. Our already bad defense has gotten worse and we don’t have a RB. We play a harder schedule and there’s no guarantee that Philly will collapse again. Unless we improve the roster I can see us being a fringe WC team. So I disagree with KeyShawn there. But I also noticed Skip didn’t answer his question of what do you do if the defense fails and you lose by a walk off 60 yard FG.

The big quandary is you can’t have a 60 million dollar contract and fix the defense, well other teams can but not a team built by Stephen.

Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, Irvin all HOFers and their contracts never polarized the fan base this much or even talked about. This is weird that Dak’s contract is such an ongoing discussion.

The amount of time devoted to the topic is notable. Looking back, I do not think nearly as much was said about Romo's contracts here or by media talking heads.

Dak will be a starting QB and get paid next year.

All the pressure is on the Jones'.

Do they draft a QB this year? Do they continue to gamble on Trance? Do they pick up a non sexy free agent QB next year? Do the over pay for Dak next year? Do they trade multiple first round picks, like the Niners, to move up in the draft to gamble in a QB?

The only pressure Dak is going to have is from our rebuilt Oline and having to score 35+ a game with our run defense.

But of course there are cards to play. They are a bit pricey. So what?
