This came out this morning,7am. The latest on BB coming here in 2025. I am curious to see what Jones boys say about this, if anything.
Basically some people close to BB leaked that Bill only has 1 team in mind for his job next season and that is the Cowboys.
So Bill hasnt actually stated this publicly.

It would explain what is happening this off season, they are waiting for the new HC to be in on any big decisions.
So it is still wait and see what actually does happen.

I agree with fish that this should not be leaked intentionally till after 24 season ends. which is why I am curious about the jones reaction to it.

Only way this happens is if we have a terrible record after this season and Jerry brings in Bill to try and restore credibility like he did with Parcell's after the 3 straight 5 and 11 seasons.

I agree with fish that this should not be leaked intentionally till after 24 season ends. which is why I am curious about the jones reaction to it.

It is difficult to announce a rebuild after 3 12-5 seasons in a row. So let everyone walk, do not participate in FA. Go backwards(intentionally) finish 9-8, so you can announce we are rebuilding.

At this point if he said used toilet paper was gross it would be the only statement he made that I wouldn’t find dubious.
It’s much more likely McCarthy will be given a 3 to 5 game extension by week 8!
If not, the next head coach will be Kellen Moore!

Looks like BB is putting feelers out there for Jerry and son to be thinking about should they get desperate and finally cave in to bringing in a real HC. Wants to be on Jerry's speed dial in case this happens. You gotta admit that Jerry's moves and non-moves would make sense if he was going to scrap all this and start over with a new HC and staff in 2025. This would be the thing to do right now. Not necessarily BB, but someone legit. But we just may be overthinking this and Jerry is just doing what Jerry usually does--------being stupid.

It remains irrelevant. Few coaches have success without also having a top QB. Like Landry and Johnson, Belichick was more than just Brady. He also put together some top defenses while he was in New England to support his top QB, and that's why they won Super Bowls. That's generally how you win, pairing a top QB with a top running game and/or a top defense ... and that's why players like Dan Marino don't have any Super Bowl titles despite being a top QB and having Johnson as his coach as well as the great Don Shula.

After listening to this, if anyone one thinks the reason the Cowboys struggle is other than Jerry himself, you have to be out of your mind.
