Lol

A lot of good having a HOFer there for the last decade did for us, huh?
c'mon man, can you imagine how bad we would be if we didn't have one? Do you think a LT along would have brought us what we haven't had in 3 decades? Take Ty off this team and we are complaining more than we do

Awesome point man.
Or imagine the Jets drafting Micah Parsons or Penei Sewell instead of Jack Wilson
Or the niners drafting Patrick Surtain or Jamar Chase instead of Trey Lance.
“Why would we trade up for a QB when we have Alex Smith? He’s safe and comfortable”

You as a Chiefs fan.

I trade up for a QB.

Atlantas pick was there for the taking.
Atlanta obviously wanted Penix (a QB) so you may have needed to trade up to #7. We would have needed to give up our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in 2024 plus our 1st rounder in 2025 just to get the points right on the draft value chart. Then you have to factor in that a team may not want to move from #7 down to #24 so they would probably want much more compensation. So maybe we have to toss in our 2026 1st round pick to get the ball rolling along with those other picks. Now you have given up all of that for either Penix, McCarthy, or Nix. I'm not sold on any of those 3. Nix played for 6 years in college was a bum before he became a 1 year wonder at Oregon. McCarthy won in college but was set up with the perfect system and head coach. All he had to do was drive the bus at Michigan. Penix is another 6 year college player. Injuries are always an issue with him.

With what?

We had limited picks and a ton of holes.

When they didn't try to trade Dak for some picks, that was a signal that they had no intention of going QB in this draft.
Yup. Sadly Dak is here to stay

They should’ve trade with Atlanta.

That pick was there for the taking.
A lot of teams wanted that pick and Atlanta didn't make a trade.

Which means they were asking a ton for that pick.

So it sounds like a real recipe for success to give up a ton of premium picks in this draft and the next draft to go get Michael Penix, be unable to surround him with quality young talent because you gave up a ton of picks and then pair that with the fact Jerry and Stephen are cheap and don't spend in FA.

Penix would be cooked in about 3 years here.

I don’t need to imagine.

The Cowboys winning percentage without Tyron is .592.

The Cowboys winning percentage with Tyron is .574.

You as a Chiefs fan.
When you need to pretend any QB we could even draft in this draft is Mahommes to make your stupid point then its better to just remain silent.

Lets trade away our entire draft and next years 1 for a QB that is a huge question mark. The sooner you accept that Dak is our QB the better you will be.

I still think you are trolling because no way someone who has figured out how to use a computer can really be this dense.

So all the NFL executives and coaches who make millions to build teams have been wrong all along. The left tackle is the least important position on the field.

Crap... all these years I didn't realize this.

Thanks for helping us understand. You are a blessing.

A LT, really?

The best case scenario is he’s the best LT in the NFL for the next decade just like our previous LT was for the previous decade.

Tyron Smith never saw past the divisional round.

Cooper Rush, a QB NOBODY wanted when they had the opportunity, is 4-1 without Tyron Smith playing.

LT is a position you sure up AFTER the important positions are taken care of first.

A LT is the shingles on an already built house.

We drafted a guy that if anything less than 1st team all pro is a downgrade. We should’ve just kept Tyron if we valued LT that highly going into the draft, and drafted an actual position that will affect the W/L record with our 1st pick.

Now, on to the 2nd round where we will be drafting a running back without a knee to really hammer on the point that we’re an unserious franchise.
And who are you that your grade should matter to anybody?

No reason to believe he won't be. But you are completely overlooking pick 73 the Cowboy got for trading down.
I admit I was not to keen about the pick mainly due to his inconsistency and immaturity. If Guyton can take care of that and 73 pick is a good one than this turns out to be an even better trade than I thought.
