Are we not allowed to trade up?
You are complaining loudly, to the point that it’s hard to take your comments seriously, unless you share your plan.

Which QB would you have traded up to get?

What do you think it would have cost to do it?

Did the Cowboys have those assets?

You say Atlanta but make no argument for why that pick was “there for the taking”.

Be specific or don’t expect to be taken seriously on this.

It wasn’t a bad pick, but IMO the position flexibility and week-1-ready nature of Barton was worth losing that 3rd rounder you gained. He can play 5 positions comfortably

This is one of my favorite eagles of alltime. Look at the positions he played every season. He didn’t make a pro bowl, but he was just as valuable as the guys who did. Dudes like that are worth their weight in gold
Guyton is 6’ 8”. I’d rather have a shorter lineman with a lower center of gravity, particularly to open up holes in the interior for the RG. Whatever film I saw of Barton, he was driving guys all over the place. A guy as tall as Guyton, I foresee longevity issues.

If I cared about being taken seriously on a Cowboys message board I’d fall in line like the rest of ya.

Prove the numbers wrong.

The burden of proof is now on you to prove it all wrong.
Well. No. It isnt. You made a statement based on data.

What you left out is who else was injured during those losses and made it seem like Tyron was the only one hurt and that he didnt really have an effect on wins and losses leaving out the fact that other factors are involved.

Its disengenous but coming from you it isnt shocking.

You're trying to use a stat to prove a point? That's kind of ironic since you've said many times, "Stats don't matter", and in this case, the stats are misleading at best. Those percentages are based on completely different game totals. The games with Tyron total 162 for a record of 93-69. The games without Tyron total 49 for a record of 29-20. Simply based on the law of averages, your statement might hold, but Tyron would have to miss an additional 113 games to find out for sure. It's like playing 4 games and winning 3. It would give you a 75% win total. Or you play 1 game and win it. That would give you a 100% win total. The one win gives you a better win percentage, but it doesn't tell the whole story.
W/L is the only stat that matters.

Thats the one I used.

I get way too much hate for simply being right and backing it up.

You arent backing it up though. You are leaving out other injuries and basically saying Tyron had no effect on wins and losses because of the stats with JUST HIM in or out of the lineup. I understand its a confusing conversation for you, and you wont acknowledge that other factors contribute to losses because your whole schtick is blaming single players for losses.

People like me are always hated for not falling in line and questioning things instead of blindly accepting.

If you’re not willing to do the work and back up your rebuttal then it means nothing.

Sure I would, but you wouldn't have posted it if it did. So, it's a moot point.
No. If the numbers made it seem Tyron mattered in terms of W/L percentage I’d be on here like the rest of ya pretending that taking a LT in the 1st is gonna matter.
