People continue to say let's get Ben Johnson, with his high price tag which Jerry isn't going to pay for. Enter in former Cowboys player Aaron Glenn who comes him that Parcells tree. Tough minded guy, would demand the respect of this team. Please give your thoughts

Anybody would be interested in him? As next HC? Parcells guy, part of the turnaround up in Detroit? Probably grab one of his counterparts as a OC.

I like Glenn. Who is his OC going to be?

The Cowboys are overdue for a modern offensive playcaller.

And not pretend ones from Boise State either.

He's my third choice after Belichick and Vrabel. Brian Flores is also high on my list of young coaches
He will have some strong backing ........Parcell, Campbell and Payton

I'll be honest, i can see McCarthy staying. Because of the injuries, i don't think Jerry will pull the plug on it. But, if he does, Jerry should demand he hire an OC.

Glenn wouldnt be my top choice, but I would still be happy if it were him. Im very much against the Belichick and Deion ideas though.

Aaron Glenn would not "demand" anything. A coach can't create a tough, winning culture with Jerry Jones mixing with the players, undermining him on radio, running tourists through the middle of practice, making draft picks, signing only bottom of the barrel free agents and so forth.

The fact that you automatically preclude the Cowboys from going after the better candidate shows beyond the shadow of a doubt that whoever gets hired MM is already doomed for failure. The Cowboys aren't winning anything until the old fool is gone.

You should take a week off to chillax.

I like Aaron Glenn a lot. But let’s all be honest and save some time. There’s no way Jerry hires any of these young gun coaches despite their being excellent candidates.

Jerry is as predictable as the sun on 3:25 kickoff blinding his players. He prefers older “name” guys like Parcells (Belechick) or older guys he can dominate (Barry Switzer, Wade Phillips, Mike McCarthy) or unproven or young guys he can trust (Dave Campo, Jason Garrett)

Jimmy Johnson was a great hire. Young, innovative, guts and discipline. Jerry will NEVER hire a young, innovative name like that as long as he is breathing.

So as much as I like guys like Aaron Glenn or Ben Johnson or other young guns that are fast risers, don’t expect one of those types being in Big D as long as the “Lord of the Curtains” is still in charge.

I think 6 to 8 teams will be looking for a new head coach after this season. I think the Cowboys will hire a head coach no other team wants. I think of all the new head coaches in the NFL next season the Cowboys’ new head coach will be paid the least.

Brian Flores would be an interesting pick . Doing a damm good job in Minnesota . And he didn’t do a bad job as HC in Miami .

I really want an OC to be honest as the next HC . Reid Shanahan McVay O’Connell LaFleur all come from the offensive side . I think it’s easier for an OC to become a HC and hire a DC then it is to hire a DC as HC and find an OC. Bobby Slowick Houston comes to town Mon . His offense is moving right along .

Yes and not retain our current QB coach to be the OC, I can see something weird like this happening

Told you that last week and you still don't listen!!

McCarthy is not coming back . 2 of his 5 yrs here were 6-10 and this yr looks like a 5-12 wreckage . This is not the Jets or Giants . Even JG kept the records out of the gutter .

It'll be someone who was here before
