For all Cowboy fans wanting Bill for HC should be buyer beware! Bill had Tom Brady all those years and when Brady left he didn't do so well. Mike also had Rodgers..as soon as he left the same results as Belichick..These quarterbacks made the coaches look genius. Dak Prescott is not even in same league as those quarterbacks!

Not a good comparison. With that said, I don't want another aging coach. We need younger, but not so young that he's learning on the job—someone with proven and successful experience. I don't care if he's from the Cowboy's organizational tree. Come to think of it, how about we go outside the withering tree?

Officially nominated for Most Inane Thread of the Year.

Why would any young coach go to the Boys knowing they can't even start the players they want to start? Not going to happen imo. Jerry needs coaches who are desperate for a job who will be Yes men. McCarthy was perfect for that. Belichick fits the same mold and he'll probably accept just to get closer to the record and sacrifice his usual power of all role. I'm sure he'll also bring along Josh McDaniel to relive the magic on the offensive side

Was is the keyword there, his offense is stale and outdated now.
Your statement was that McCarthy specializes in nothing. McCarthy is an offensive specialist. His offense being stale doesn't change the specialty of offense. It just means the game has passed him by

Which in turn means he specializes in nothing now

Bill never had a DAK, never had a DAK

Close your account. Stop watching football. Give something else a try

Bill ain’t coming here because Bill is a GM/HC there’s no other way around that he NEEDS power and authority

Only person Jerry would concede power to is Deion Sanders

You have to gamble on the hot, young upcoming asst.coach that you greatly feel will be a successful HC.

Young ex-coordinators learn on the job...McVey, Lafleur, Demarco Ryan, Dan Campbell...and Ben Johnson will be in the same mix very soon.

But we have to help give the them the player personnel support they will sorely need...
Lions have done that...on both sides ofthe ball..

Do we the Cowboys have the ability to deliver the needed player personnel support cast for a young HC ..??

Or will we so ever continue the Moneyball approach..??
