To see these guys get movement, and push people off the ball, it looked great!!! It's been looking great for the last few weeks, grant it some will say we're playing against bad defenses, I get that. The object is to get movement on the guy in front of you and to create lanes/sustain blocks. These guys have been looking really good, I'm no trying to anoint them and put them all in Canton. There's been better play coming from these guys, and it should be praised!! Please give your thoughts

Much better than I did early in the season. The interior of the line now looks solid. They certainly look a lot better from the eye test. Run blocking has improved tremendously since Zac Martin has been out.

With all the holes on this team, I think we can go into next year with the guys we currently have playing on the oline and spend the capital elsewhere.

Overpaid overhyped bums on way out. Young hungry dudes on their way in. Things are looking up at least. I am sure they will screw it all up and pay Tyler Smith to play slightly above average LG like he is the worlds greatest LT.

Z-O-N-E is the reason.

they are a large group who move well and should continue to gel as the season comes to a close.

Yep, the Tyler Smith Guard/Tackle situation is a car crash waiting to happen. Knowing Jerry he's planning on moving him outside after he's signed him as to Guard money (then declare himself a football genius).
Pay him Tackle money now, we've got decent cover at Guard....just wonder/hope Guyton will feel more at home at RT?

They are NOT going to move an All Pro to another position that he is not close to being as good at

With #70 being out, I didn't want to say it!!!!!!!

Interesting how the pass protection has improved since they have stayed more committed to running the ball.

The next 3 weeks will be telling but I don't want them to draft an olinemen in rounds 1 or 2.

I feel its a mixed bag. Honestly I hope they look at upgrading the OL this offseason and dont just think the improved play the last few weeks is good enough. I know people hate to give credit to the coaching staff, but I'm, seeing a lot of really good play design, especially in the run game right now. They are doing an excellent job of getting this OL to move side to side and it seems to be playing to Ricos best qualities as his vision seems to get better and better each week.

The line is never going to be as good as the 90s or prime Tyron, Martin, and Frederick but all you need is good chemistry and low number of busted assignments. We can get by with Hoffman/Bass at guard. We just need better skill players around them.

My thoughts are that Hoffman is part of the best five and should start next season.

Also Tyler Smith is the best LT on the roster. Put him there and suck it up and pay him early. Maybe actually get a discount in return this time. Certainly a multi billionaire has learned that watching “leaves fall” does nothing more than drive up the price.

Trading Steele isn’t out of the question if they aren’t too busy booking stayjum events.

I'm trying to figure out what happened to Edoga. He was playing at LT, got injured. Then, came back later and played guard.

I actually thought Hoffman has looked better at guard than he did at center. Maybe it's just the holding penalty getting me, but his play at right guard has been very good. We'll see what the team thinks when Beebe returns from his concussion.
