Brag about your kids!

Thanks.

The crazy part is that he has never been coached for catching.

He’s 13u and only started catching last fall after he got back from Cooperstown.

Everything he does is from watching videos and other kids.

I’d love to take credit but I’m a lacrosse guy(so was he until last year). He’s putting in the work, I just drive him, make sure he has enough water and watch him play.
Self motivated! Even better. He got that from somewhere man! Take a bow in the mirror!

I don't know how or why but my great nephew's team will be playing in England this coming week for some sort of exhibition game. The fact that it's affiliated with the NFL growth of the game program means some meaningful exposure to eyes that matter for him and his teammates.

Oldest daughter turned down several elite Universities to attend her favorite choice Cal Univ and by her second semester she was already a Sophomore. She and her younger sister both won dance national championships by age 10.

I don't know why I never come over to this page but it helps me get to know some of you better.

I have 3 grown children (I was 42 before I had my 1st). 1st born son is fix-it type guy . Struggled in school early, we sent him to a private Christian school and he flourished . He has struggled with autism spectrum disorder but once he made middle school things fell into place in his brain and he took off. Went to a 2 year program for process operations and graduated #1 in his class of 45. Doesn't interview well due to his speech deficits and never found a job in his field. (We live near the upper Texas Gulf Coast where there is a myriad of refineries). So he went to work repairing tractors and did that for a couple of years and then got in with a company working industrial support in hydraulics and is currently in their shop as a repair tech and apprentice machinist. On the side he works on folks equipment in our rural area. He's is a good young man. Works the sound board in church every Sunday (never misses church) and is a Godly man. May be getting married soon (fingers crossed ... great gal). Helps me keep stuff running out here on the farm. He just rebuilt 2 four wheelers and got my big chainsaw running over the last month. Next up he's going to put a kit in a nail gun that has leaking O-rings.

#2, a son, graduated his with his bachelors in accounting, went to work for a firm in Beaumont one week after graduating. Currently working on his masters while working full time +. Great young man, Godly also, works the audio/visuals at church every Sunday and helps me a lot. He's an amature gunsmith and a collector of firearms and does some long range shooting. He is still living at home (23) but looking for a piece of land to buy out here in the woods.

#3 Daughter is a stay at home wife (SIL is an aircraft mechanic), 21, and really feisty. Says she is working on my 1st grandbaby. I told her to hurry, I'm not getting any younger. She is a really good young woman, cries too easily sometimes, saved by the grace of God, and a really good cook.

All 3 are hockey fans (Stars, Leafs, Penguins) first (Canadian mother corrupted them), all know of my Cowboy obsession but only oldest son really follows them with me. My wife still has a hard time grasping the game, even after 28 years with me. None played organized sports except my daughter and that was only into her soph year in HS.

Thanks for the opportunity to share this.

Berkeley? If that is where she is then she IS attending an elite University. Considered THE number one public university on the planet. My son graduated there in May pre med. Went to graduation last May at the FB stadium. Then we went across the Bay bridge and caught a SF Giants game. Easily one of the best days of my life.

Oldest daughter is a civil engineer. Youngest is getting ready to finish her 3rd year in college and will have her BSN in nursing next year. She is considering staying in school to be a nurse practitioner. Very proud of them both!
