Stephen: We feel Dak is going to be a healthy QB for us and give us a chance to win championships

Finally. Coog switched to decaf.

Yeah I didn't have enough votes, I'll try again in the future:huh::huh::huh::lmao:

Technically, I could give them a chance to win a championship. It wouldn’t be a good chance, though. This isn’t exactly a ringing endorsement.

To be fair a lot of Dak's injuries have been of the fluke variety. A guy rolls over his leg and his ankle breaks in 2020. He hits his hand on a helmet and breaks a finger in 2022. The hamstring thing is more troubling since it popped off the bone during the course of normal game action.

I am in the minority here but I think as far as injuries are concerned, Dak has been more unlucky than injury-prone.

Anytime they start off with a "we feel..."...oh boy! Yea...we feel you are wrong and have been wrong for going on 3 decades! I feel you.

Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones on @1053thefan on continuing to restructure Dak Prescott's contact: "Obviously we have a lot of confidence that Dak's injury was one of those that was just unfortunate. ... We feel like he's gonna be a healthy, productive quarterback for us that will play at the very top of his game and give us a chance to win championships."

win championships........I think he means division championships. LOL

Its like these idiots think we were undefeated before Dak got hurt and that is why our season tanked.

NEWS FLASH................we were losing games well before Dak got hurt.

I guess they think the casuals that just tune in on Sunday will believe the crap they are shoveling.

+1. As usual, we are being gaslit by the Jones boys. Dallas was 3-5 last year with Dak as starter and 4-4 with Rush and 0-1 with Lance.

I can't believe this isn't discussed more. The team was bad with Dak and wasn't appreciably worse without him. I feel like the narrative out of Dallas is that the team tanked when he got hurt and would have been good had he stayed healthy. That's provably not what happened.

Stephen's words say more than he intended. Sharing a feeling about the future is more about expressing hope than it is about substantive action. It becomes worthy of saying by Stephen when those expectations have a history of not being met in the past. It is unintentionally an admission that the plural "we" in the front office have concerns about Dak's health.

We fans share that concern. But my personal message to Stephen is hope is not a plan. Work on the plan and let the fans focus on the hope. ;)

Extending Dak will be one of the worst, and there are many, decisions Stephanie has made so far.
