I didn’t say he would. I’m saying if he would. Running back market will be cheap. You can draft someone or you can sign another Javonte’s. I don’t see any scenario where anyone breaks the bank for him.

Pickens is one of the smoothest deep ball catchers I have ever watched with how he positions himself. Makes it look incredibly easy. Williams was a monster before his injury in Denver.

Waiting to November 3 would give us more perspective on development of the team. Isn't it all about how long Dak will play at a high level. The 26 draft is good but I have heard the 27 draft described as Uber. Give me some of that

I think a lot of people are forgetting one important factor when it comes to Pickens. He and Dak have great chemistry. He and Dak do things that Lamb and Dak don't (and vice versa). So he makes Dak better. If he continues to be a great teammate and not a troublemaker and doesn't piss off Jerry, then he's more likely to be signed. The real stumbling block is the agent.

If Jerry wants to keep Pickens, he'll find a way. It helps Dak and Dak has the most expensive contract ever, so Jerry will do things to help justify that mistake. It also fires up the fanbase with how exciting Pickens has been to watch. That means $$$.

Williams is in a slightly different boat, but is still exciting to see. But Jerry is fine with getting rid of really productive RB's if he thinks he can find a cheaper option.

Our organization deserves accolades for bringing both in. Probably our best off season acquisitions in years.

We actually have a top 5 RB this year currently 2nd in rushing. What a great signing. But the longer he stays on top the higher his contract is going to be.

Same goes for Pickens who I suspected would be a 1 year rental. Arguably our best WR tandem since 90’s with Irvin and Harper. True first round talent on both sides.

We saved millions in Cap space trading Parsons. The more success they have this season the higher the price. Get a deal done now. End of season will be too late or expensive.

The “wonder” is who will they be playing for next season.

Read today that the Agent wants 137M / 4 years for Pickens with 35 M per Year.

No one is paying that. Atleast not the Cowboys.
